"This was an excellent place for on overnight stay near Staunton. The cottage was neat and efficiently laid out, and the free ranging chickens were a delight. Far enough away from downtown Staunton that you felt like you were in the country but close enough to get to the theater in less than ten minutes."

"This place exceeded our expectations. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect place, which for us, is seclusion, and it more than delivered. Not another soul in sight the entire time. Just lots of cows that were quite enjoyable. Our 20 pound dog chased a few down the hill one day. We didn’t enjoy the fire pit like we would have liked due to on and off rain and thunderstorms, but we were treated to a rainbow every evening of our stay. "This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. It rained one of the days we’re there but that was fine because there was so much room and things provided in the house that we didn’t even notice! Management was excellent"

"This adorable cabin was very well equipped for a home away from home. It was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. Additionally it was in a perfect spot to explore the area. Trails were accessible from the property but we were also not far from many adventureous spots. We went seeking a quiet getaway from Fourth of July fireworks and were not disappointed. Peaceful, beauotful, and probably the most relaxing weekend we have had in a while."

"My daughter and I chose this rental over others due to its location near the hiking trails and river. Pam and Gary were excellent hosts and were very accomidating. The views of the mountains from the back porch were breathtaking. The house was well equipped and comfortable for all our needs. We would love to come back in the fall to see the foliage, I'll bet it is gorgeous!"
