"The house was very clean and very warm and dry! We did incur lots of rain & listening to it in the sunroom was quite nice. There were no "surprises" about the property which is good. Location was great. We were looking for something rural but not so far off the grid that we couldn't find anything. Would absolutely recommend a stay here."

"Lovely property!! As gorgeous as pictured and so relaxing to look out at the water. Property was very clean and had all the essentials. Check in was very easy and when we had trouble figuring out the stove the company answered the phone straight away and explained it. The only negative I would note is that the location in the Harbor is a little less luxurious than the house. The houses next door have oils of garbage and furniture in their gardens. "

"Accommodation was as represented in the listing, very clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location in town, only a few minutes to walk down to restaurants and a supermarket. "Tern House is an incredible property! Weather prevented us from spending as much time outdoors on Skye as we planned, but lighting a fire at the house, cooking a meal in the kitchen and curling up on the couch made for a lovely, cozy afternoon. "Ascrib’s View is a gem. Strongly recommend to anyone visiting Skye. It’s nice to be away from the bustle of Portree, while still being close to many activities. We enjoyed hiking the Quirang and Fairy Pools, and had an amazing speed boat safari with Isle of Skye Seafari in Portree.
