"Nice upscale hotel with large rooms. Good work desk and internet. Breakfast had lots of choices, both hot and cold. Nice location along canal, with a reasonable (if uphill) walk into town, towards the cathedral. Getting to the hotel by foot from the station more challenging due to the hill nature of town, and construction blocking various access ways."

"The staff made our experience fabulous. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and needed to use a mobility scooter to get around, nothing was too much bother. The first room was difficult to access for me, we informed reception and were seamlessly and quickly moved to another room. "Welcoming reception. The food is amazing. Family friendly pub and restaurant. Rooms ok. Toilet cistern... you must press both buttons together to flush otherwise the nouse of water all night long. Instructions would be helpful along with a notification to say milk in fridge. Staff go extea mike to look after you. Bed comfy. Pillows confy too. "
