"Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head. I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control. In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person. The room...

"The owner is really nice, the place is perfect for a whistler stay as there is parking and super close to the village and in the quiet area so you don't have to worry about your parties. I will note that booking through Orbitz in two parts means you have to log in a second time to pay the second part vs an automatic payment. Make sure you pay attention to that as I was accidentally late. "

"We had a nice stay in this lodge. Location is great and close to everywhere. Cafe downstairs very convenient. Staffs are nice and friendly to check us in. The outdoor pool is cozy and warm place to enjoy the evening with my family. Only a little flaw: the boot dryer didn’t work so we can’t use it to dry the wet ski boots. Other than that, everything is perfect. "

Private hot tub was great, however it seemed the jets were weak but overall after a long day of activities it was very nice to relax in the hot tub. Everything else was expected. Only small inconvenience was both kitchen and bathroom sinks drained very slowly."
