1. -Owner available 24/7. Owner-managed. Any urgent matters quickly addressed. The front desk is also open 24/7 (& they sell frozen pizzas! And a host of other sundries. :) )

2. -Reviews. All 188 reviews are authentic. Maintaining a perfect 10/10 with such a high total reviews is extremely rare on Expedia/VRBO and we are proud to keep the bar set high! We encourage you to please read some of them. While pictures and many details can be found in the listing, there are no better judges than the testimonies of satisfied guests! :) Over 400 self-managed rentals in 10 yrs. We got this! Get ready to check off all the boxes on your list.... :)

3. -Penthouse. Ours is the largest 1-bedroom in the Aspens. Our unique large space allows for 2 sofa beds in the living room. The queen and double sofa beds are the highest quality and with upgraded memory foam mattresses.

4. -Furnishings. Size is great however a condo is not "luxury" unless the furnishings and outfitting are also of the highest quality and the unit is upkept to the highest possible standards. Cue the high quality king bed and sofa beds all with memory foam because when you play hard you need to sleep very well!, The kitchen is fit for a chef! Floor to ceiling tile in the bathroom, heated floors, high quality carpeting, GearDryer*, 2 smart TVs, stainless bbq... the list goes on.

*NEW GEARDRYER!! Dec., 2024 (designed in Utah BY outdoor enthusiasts FOR outdoor enthusiasts!). Perfect for your ski, board and biking gear! It goes hand-in-hand with an extra large Whistler-Blackcomb mountain map towel to wipe down your gear!

5. -RENOVATION! Nov./Dec., 2024 including new entrance remodel, installation of high quality carpeting and painting throughout.

"PENTHOUSE INTERIOR DETAILS":

-16" King bed memory foam w/pillow top. High quality. Amazing sleep!

-highest quality memory foam pullout sofa beds in the living room 1. queen + 1 double.

-GEARDRYER. Installed December 2024 has proven extremely popular. It is to our knowledge the only one in the building.

-extremely well stocked kitchen. All clad and stainless pots/pans, quality knife set toaster, tea kettle, Keurig coffee maker, blender, waffle maker. Even baking trays!

-(2) smart TV’s (55" living room, 42" bedroom).

-Wii and lots of other games.

-DVD player with dozens of classic movies (75+)

-floor to ceiling bathroom tiles.

-thermostatic shower system with full size soaker tub!

-heated floors

-EVERY light in the condo is dimmable.

-gas fireplace (building shuts all fireplace gas feed during the summer months)

-Custom made solid maple live edge accents. Mantle, work desk, bathroom mirror, shelving....

-artwork "Blueberry2Blackcomb" , "Run" and "Black Tusk" giclee print from our favorite artist Andy Anissimoff of Squamish.

-The wooden sculpture "The Skier" (Alan Boileau). Alan's piece really steals the show!

-professionally cleaned after each stay including regular carpet steam cleaning.

Our place looks great!!! And it's clean. And it's comfortable. And it's big!

We use our place often so all guests get to enjoy all those little extras that elevate a condo from a mere vacation property to a true home away from home! If you simply want it ALL and nothing but the best will do then our place will fill your check list!


In closing it is easy for owners to overstate their space. But if they do they will not maintain such high ratings over such a long period of time *9yrs. and counting...! We prefer to encourage all prospective guests to read our fantastic reviews. Nowhere will you find disappointment or any questions as to the great value our Penthouse offers. It delivers. "THE ASPENS BUILDING DETAILS/AMENITIES"

-FREE Ski valet. 07:30-18:00 daily during ski season

-24/7 front desk. They also sell basic groceries such as milk, cereal, muffins, coffee, cream, frozen pizza and ice cream, pasta, sauce, toiletries and a host of other items.

-Pool towels. At front desk.

-Pool. One of the largest in Whistler and West facing means full sun all day long. Surrounding the pool are large cantilevered umbrellas, lounge and sitting chairs. Pool is kept at a comfortable temperature year round.

-3 hot tubs. All of which are within sight of skiers and borders passing by as well as the Blackcomb Gondola right outside our property gate. Serene in the evening.

-Bike storage room. Gated and video monitored. A code will be provided for access.

-LOCATION! LOCATION!, LOCATION!!
The Aspens is one of if not the very best locations in Whistler. One of the only true ski in ski outs in Whistler, The Aspens holds the title as closest ski out in the Upper Village to the Blackcomb Gondola. From the time you take your skis/boards off at the hot tub gate, to the time you're inside our penthouse is as short as 2 minutes. That beats The Fairmont by a few minutes and the Four Season by an additional several. Guests at either of our world famous neighbors cannot "ski out".

I can't say enough nice things about the property and the people who manage it. The accommodations are splendid and the location is ideal. It takes less than five minutes to walk to Upper Village which has lots of great restaurants, shops, and equipment rentals. A few minutes past that is the main village if you wish to explore further. My kids are notoriously against going places by foot but they were surprisingly eager to make the short walk to the villages because of their close proximity. Of course, the accommodations and games inside the penthouse made it easy to not want to leave either! Leo was very communicative, super helpful and I look forward to visiting this location again!

Amazing place in Whistler

Location was great by Blackholm chairs and Upper Village. Condo was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. View from 2 balconies was nice. A/C was an extra nice luxury. Host was very prompt with replies to questions, and had great recommendations. Check in and out was simple, just walked up to room with codes. Definitely would stay here again!!

Leo and Allison were the most amazing hosts. They assisted me throughout my entire stay and were so kind, and thoughtful! They provided me with the VERY best recommedations on dining and activities. The Unit is so perfect in every way. The kitchen has every amenity possibly needed. Lovely, well kept and comfortable unit.

We enjoyed our annual mother/daughter weekend in Leo's condo. Leo texted me with a welcome before we arrived, and even arranged for an early check-in. The unit is very well taken care of, cozy and comfortable. It is also fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials if you wish to cook. We have stayed in many units in the Aspens, and this one is the nicest we have seen. Thank you Leo for your hospitality and we will absolutely stay there again.

Simply Amazing

A wonderful apartment in a superb location. Leo was very responsive to all our questions and requests. The apartment was fault less. Beautiful and clean. Very comfortable beds and living room even down to small things like a throw blanket for when you're sitting on the lounge of an evening. The gear dryer was perfect to dry the boots after a days skiing.

This is a great place to stay, with easy ski in and ski out access as well as being close to whistler village. Our host, Leo, was great and kept in touch during our stay to make sure we were ok, provide us some great info and make sure we were having a good time. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing Place

The penthouse condo is amazing! The location is ideal for ski-in and ski-out! The beds are super comfy. The shower and instant hot water was perfect. The clothes dryer was a nice touch, as well as the spa robes! We’ll definitely stay there again. Leo was like a concierge, gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner!

This place is absolutely amazing! The owner’s communication was outstanding—they checked in as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was perfect and even shared fantastic recommendations for nearby dining. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including coffee and cooking utensils, making it feel like home.The location couldn’t be better! Access to the slopes is incredibly easy—just head out the back gate, put on your skis, and take a short glide to the Blackcomb gondola. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the public transportation is excellent. Bus #5 drops you off right at your front door, which is super convenient.For après-ski fun on the Whistler side, you can ride the Excalibur gondola back, hop off at the mid-station, and ski Merlin straight to the back gate. It couldn’t be simpler!We had an unforgettable stay and can’t wait to return. This will always be our go-to spot when visiting the mountain! Highly recommend!

Excellent condo in a perfect location. Kitchen is well stocked with clean and new items. Condo is spacious for a one bedroom and the two pullout couches in living area are really comfortable. Big bonus points for the boot and glove dryer - lifesaver after a deep powder day. Amenities are awesome - three hot tubs plus pool, complimentary ski valet, etc. Can’t get more ski-in/out than this place and just a 3 minute walk down to the base of Blackcomb. The host, Leo, was incredibly helpful and a really nice guy. Super easy to deal with and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered right away. Overall 5 Star experience across the board - book with absolute confidence.

Weekend in Whistler

My son is moving to Whistler for work. I went along with him to help get him set up. The condo was perfect for us. Right in the Blackcomb Village, easy and fast access to the Whistler Village. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The host was very responsive and kind. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Lovely Stay - Easy, Walkable, & Welcoming

So much to love about our Whistler ‘Penthouse’ stay: Excellent communication from our host, Leo; Super walkable location to Whistler Village - shopping, dining, trails, etc. Comfortable furnishings including crisp linens and bedding. Cozy surroundings; fireplace inside, hot tubs (outside in the pool area), and unique local art throughout the apartment. Super clean; likely the cleanest short-stay unit we’ve stayed at! Loved our visit to Whistler and would definitely recommend and return. Thank you!!!

Wonderful spot

Great spot! Clean and in good condition. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware. Softest of beds. Heated floors and a fireplace. Two balconies, too. The upper village, gondola and lifts are right out the back door. Awesome hosts, thanks Leo!

Great location. Host was very responsive and helpful with recommendations on the area. We enjoyed the biking and hiking in the area and the mountains. The unit was quiet, plenty of space for the two of us, full kitchen and accessories, short walk to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
