ABOUT THE HOME
This newly renovated 1bedroom & loft condo offers high vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan with mountain views from the balcony, living area, and bedroom. The condo features a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, & smart TV. The master bedroom has a Queen bed with ensuite bathroom, the loft overlooking the living room has twin beds & a half bathroom. This unit provides all the comforts.

COMPLEX: WILDWOOD LODGE
Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, and only a short walk or free shuttle ride from the lifts and the Village, the Wildwood Lodge is one of Whistler's great affordable condo-hotels; featuring an outdoor heated pool (summer only) with breathtaking mountain views, and a huge outdoor hot tub. Shared laundry and secure ski/snowboard and bike storage are available. The underground parkade has two level-2 EV Charging Stations (C$1.50/hour).

LOCATION: BENCHLANDS
Located slopeside on Blackcomb Mountain, the Benchlands offers alpine seclusion while still being just steps from the Upper Village as well as the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village. With a slopeside setting, these lodging options will have you on the slopes (or the first tee of the Chateau Whistler Golf Course) in minutes. Many of these complexes have ski-in/ski-out access and they are all on the free shuttle route to and from the Village. In the summer enjoy quick access to Lost Lake Park as well as a weekly outdoor Farmers Market.

Each property comes with one free parking spot and there is a limited amount of visitor parking spots.

THINGS TO KNOW
- This home does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area.
- Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request.

HOUSE RULES
No smoking, no pets, no parties, no bikes permitted inside units, minimum booking age of 25. Base occupancy is 4 adults and max occupancy is 6 adults. The fifth and the sixth adult pay C$35 per night per person. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- 100% refund if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
- 75% refund (minus service fee) if you cancel at least 45 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 45 days before check-in.

Great lodge and location, but very overpriced
Overall I had a bitter sweet feeling with my stay. The Wildwood lodge is a great facility, the location is walking distance from the Blackcomb gondola and its conveniently right by the free village shuttle stop too. The apartment itself has a good layout, but was a bit poorly furnished, with only basic utensils in the kitchen, no books, no board games, so frankly not very cozy overall... It kind of works if you spend your days outdoors and bring your own deck of cards I guess. However, while my stay was overall fine, the main issue was the price I paid for my 7 nights stay. Some friends of ours stayed the same week in an apartment on the same floor of the very same lodge, better furnished, very cozy finishing, so really much nicer and paid almost half the price for 8 nights! My only guess is that the cost of their management company was so much less...? I don't know what happened to us here, but the extra price we paid for less really seemed a bit unfair frankly.

Convenient location with a beautiful view!
Overall this property was perfect for our stay. The location was very convenient with a shuttle running regularly throuought the day to get down to the village/onto the slopes. I marked 4 stars for the accuracy of the online listing because it's not a true ski-in/ski-out location (at least certainly not with the weather during our stay). Although it was pretty cloudy a lot of the time, whenever the clouds cleared up, this rental had the most stunning views out the large windows looking out at Whistler & Blackcomb mountains.

Great Large Space In An Outdated Building
We generally enjoyed our time here. The location was somewhat inconvenient compared to being right in the village, but it got us walking and the price was right. The building needs updating. It was bizarre that their hallway ramp to the unit leads to a small set of stairs, thereby making it impossible to roll the luggage trolley right to the unit door. It was as if the builder underestimated the incline of the original ramp and had to add stairs midway through the build. The kitchen floor also has an odd dip where it should be flush with the entrance way. This created a minor tripping hazard. The stairs to the loft were also showing signs of age and becoming uneven. Minor problems for most people, but they were noticeable. It was nice to be overlooking the pool. The kitchen was well stocked. We're grateful for the late check-out. Overall, it was a good stay.

Whistler Getaway
Came to Whistler for a week mid august to ride the bike park, hike, and enjoy B.C. Wildwood Lodge is nicely located close enough to walk to the villages, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and feel like your in the woods. This unit has very nice furnishings and added touches of welcome snacks, dish soap, laundry soap, and paper goods. Nice to have a spot in the parking garage, but be warned the garage is very tight so a large truck may have issues. We happened to be there during a heat wave for the area, so the lack of AC was a bummer every afternoon when we came back to the unit and it was hot. There were 2 fans that we used in addition to a ceiling fan, but had to keep the condo door open to the hall to get air flow. While there are beautiful windows to view the mountains only one opens and the slider to the deck. I think black out curtains that could be pulled closed in the afternoon would make all the difference. Once the sun went down the condo cooled off nicely and the nights were cool. The space was perfect for my husband and i in the master bedroom and our 2 kids to share the loft. Lost lake is a very short walk away!

This apartment was exactly as advertised. We had a perfect, lazy stay, walking into the village everyday for dinner and coming back to watch movies. It was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Good location with easy access to facilities. Summer stay is not recommended.
Walking distance or short ride to gandola and shopping malls. Not far from lakes Alta and Green. Room is like what showed but summer stay could be a problem especially 3rd floor unites exposed to afternoon sun, which heats up the room and make it too hot to stay without AC.

Great family spot for exploring whistler
Loved staying here-- place is set up perfectly to cook and eat in, or to head out to explore food/activities in the village. Beds are comfortable, place is clean and well- set up for families. Property is right on the trail, five min walk to the gondola. Definitely recommend.
