Mountain View Suite is the ideal Whistler home for those seeking comfort, location, and incredible Whistler Blackcomb views. Enjoy the balcony with views onto Olympic Plaza, breathe in the fresh mountain air while you watch Whistler's free outdoor summer concerts or gaze upon the snowy village. Prepare your favourite gourmet meals in the fully stocked kitchen and share around the large dining table creating fond family memories for years to come.

Location doesn't get better than this - the suite is located in Whistler's Marketplace Lodge, directly above grocery and liquor stores, and a stone's throw away from Whistler's best shopping and dining scene. You will also have access to the building's hot tub, the perfect place to relax after an epic day of skiing or mountain biking. After your hot tub, relax by the fireplace or sit by the window to take in the beautiful sights and watch other visitors stroll by.

ROOMS:
- Room 1: Primary bedroom, Queen bed, ensuite bathroom, A/C unit available in the summer
- Room 2: Kids bedroom/Den, 1 set of 2 twin bunk beds. This room has a black out curtain for privacy instead of a door, doesn't have a window, and is best for kids or adults who don't mind a tight fit.
- Living room: Double size pull-out couch with memory foam mattress

LOCATION:
Marketplace lodge is located right in the heart of the Whistler village next to the Olympic Plaza. Everything is within walking distance. You'll be right next to the grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, coffee shops, Valley Trail, and bus stops.

In the winter, the base of the mountain is a 10 minute walk down the beautiful village stroll. In the summer, bike trails to local lakes and viewpoints are on your doorstep. If you're looking to visit other parts of town, the bus stop is right outside the complex. There is a free shuttle in the winter, and in the summer you can hop on your bike to connect to Whistler's Valley Trail which will take you to local lakes and parks. Unless you're going to Creekside or local neighborhoods, you probably won't need to drive or take a taxi at all!

Free underground secure parking is available at the complex for one vehicle (the parking garage clearance is 6'9")

Other things to note:

Perfect location, clean and cozy apartment

We couldn’t have asked for a better location especially with two little kids. We did not ski but spent time at the playground which was literally 2 mins from the apartment door. It was also very convenient to the grocery story and lots of choices for food. The open hot tub was great. The apartment has everything you need. The in-house laundry is very helpful. We used the master and the pull out sofa bed. Both were very comfortable. Bring your own Kleenex if that’s something you use. Communication with the management company was great.

Beautiful and Convenient Vacation Rental just Steps from all the Action

I stayed here with three buddies for an annual ski trip, and we could not have been much happier with these accommodations. It's an easy walk away from the lifts to both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, and there are more than enough restaurants, pubs, and stores along the way.

X-mas holiday get away

Spent 3 nights during the Christmas holidays with the wife and 2 daughters. Great hosts who put up a wreath on the door, small Christmas LED tree in side the room, box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator to welcome us. This was well done and appreciated! Pros: Located centrally, close to a grocery store in the plaza itself, 2 coffee shops within 50 feet. Having 2 bathrooms was convenient. Underground reserved parking allowed us to drive to the drop off zone near the ski lifts without having to remove the skis/boots from the car. It's too far to walk with skis and boots on hand, instead consider the shuttle right outside the Plaza. There is also coffee, sugar and condiments in the kitchen which is convenient. Cons: NOISE. Beware that the price you pay for being located in the village is the noise. The Olympic plaza park is directly across the window and there is foot traffic late into the night with bright lights from the decorated trees. But it quietens down after 12 midnight. We were also unfortunate in having people on the unit above us who were very noisy stomping around and partying late into the night. Had to call the cops on one night who talked to them which helped. The units are small, not very well insulated so you can hear neighbors speaking, water running in the toilet etc. Unit is tastefully furnished with basic necessities. Not luxurious by any means but clean and comfortable. Overall, we paid a lot more for the unit probably because it was the holidays. In the future, I would consider staying away from the village itself.

Great Property & Location

We had an unbelievable time in whistler. We were staying elsewhere for a week but got lucky with new snow and decided to extend our trip and book this gem. I reached out to Christine explaining the late notice and request for early check in so we could move our stuff in the morning before hitting the mountain. She had no problem with it and accommodated our request. Very nice people and excellent rental as the bed was extremely comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend this listing.

Perfect Whistler Location

The weather was not our friend this trip but fortunately our accommodations helped us make the most of our visit. The room was perfect for us and our teenager with a wonderful village location overlooking the Olympic Park and mountains - we will be back!

Great condo in a great location

Centrally located and just steps from your morning coffee fix, grocery store, and other shops in the Marketplace. If you have kids, the park is right outside the building and our kids had a ball there after our days on the mountain. The condo was clean, just the right size, and up to date. Kids are the best fit for the bunk room. Christine the owner is super responsive! Thanks for a great last minute stay!

Cozy and convenient location

Christine's place was very cozy, clean and comfortable. My communications with her were very professional and any issues were promptly resolved. The condo was conveniently located and was close to the Whistler Village shops as well as the lifts. The condo had all the appropriate necessities, which made cooking our own meals very easy. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a pull-out bed, which was a nice. Only drawbacks to the suite were not really within the control of the host. The condo building itself seemed a bit in need of maintenance. (ie) The exit stairs desperately needed a new coat of paint. The second bedroom was more like a den - small and did not have a door, therefore more suitable for children. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this suite. Don
