Walk through the backyard to the golf course, & enjoy some fun times on the La-Pointe 9 Hole Golf Course. Great for practicing your short game! Why not warm up on the 9 hole course and then play at Waipu Golf Course just a 12 minute drive away.

A great spot for couples, a family, two families, or maybe multi-generational with grandparents, as well as accommodation if you're in the area for work.

A spacious and stylish interior, open plan and with a beautiful outlook over part of the golf course, you'd have no trouble basing yourself here when you visit the area.

Situated 1 hour and 30 minutes from Auckland, this home offers a central base for your coastal adventure, with the added advantage of use of the 9 hole golf course. A 5-minute drive takes you to the boat ramp at Marsden Cove Marina, a 2 minute drive to the One Tree Point boat ramp, a 12 minute drive to Ruakaka shopping centre and 15 minutes to Waipu Golf Course. A 30-minute drive brings you to Whangarei to explore the Hundertwasser Art Museum, and some cool cafes at the Town Basin.

The entire home is your own. it's situated on a flat section with easy access to the front door or through the garage. There is parking on the driveway for 2 cars.

The home is set up for self check-in, and we will always be available if you need us. We live close by and find it is usually best communicating through the Airbnb app or via text messages.

One Tree Point is an awesome place for some R&R. There's a lot of development in the area, but apart from a few weeks at Christmas it is still fairly sleepy! Walk, bike ride, swim, paddle board, sit around and read, walk to the cafe in the canal development. Play golf, walk or ride around La Pointe Estate and the 9 hole golf course. There's plenty to do or nothing to do if you choose.
Boat launching is just 100m from your door or 1km drive to the Marsden Cove Marina boat ramp.
Just a 1km walk away is the interesting Mardsen Cove Marina. There is a monthly weekend market there as well as one at the One Tree Point School, which you'll pass on your way, and you'll find The Marina Cafe which is open for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner beside the water in the canals.
Ruakaka surf beach is a 10 min drive away.
The public golf course is near Waipu, and a there is a lovely Four Square Supermarket at the Marina or the Ruakaka Shopping Centre just a 10 min drive away. Waipu with its quaint historic atmosphere has a variety of interesting shops, museum and cafes to explore.
Cycle/drive from One Tree Point to the Oil refinery wharf to watch or try the fishing off the long pier, or nip to the surf on Ruakaka Beach for a quick dip in the waves.

There is no public transport in the area - you'll need your own car. Bring bikes as it is a perfect area for riding around, but equally just as good to walk around with flat terrain and nice walkways.

The use of the Golf Course and Tennis Court are subject to La-Pointe Body Corp rules. In our House Manual we will provide you with the conditions of using these. There will be "Tags" provided to use whilst playing on the golf course to indicate you have permission to use it.
