"Bar W is a gorgeous ranch located perfectly close to Whitefish get far enough to properly experience the peace and quiet of the Montana countryside. All the staff at Bar W were friendly, happy and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. The lodge is stunning, homely and comfortable and I could envisage spending more time there with a group of friends or family. Conveniently located ~10 minutes from West Yellowstone, the staff is wonderful & accommodating, the scenery is beautiful, restaurant next door has great food, and there is plenty to do around the property in the evenings. Our only con was the cleanliness of the communal bathroom / showers - at 8 am, they were already unsanitary & could have used a deep clean. We would certainly return, but...
