"Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) "

"Moriston Cottage is a delightful house right in the middle of Lochcarron, a very lovely small village on the water. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the house is well furnished and provisioned with all required for an enjoyable stay. Communication with property management was at all times fast and very helpful. We would recommend this property and the location very highly. "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

"Absolutely perfect location, very scenic and quiet. The cabin was cozy, well equipped and the ideal base for exploration of the area. Bed was super comfy, had the best night's sleep and the shower blasted you awake for the day ahead. All in all a brilliant wee find and we'd definitely return. "Simply Outstanding. Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night. We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind. "
