"We stayed here for a wedding nearby so honestly did not have a ton of time at the property. House has plenty of room for a larger group. Kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking. Directions for check in/check out were clear and owner was extremely communicative. Basement was kind of musty so we kept the sliding doors open when home. Hustisford is a smaller town than I anticipated so I’m happy we stocked up some groceries before arrival."

"Was in town for funeral. Was great place to gather with family. Right in park so was nice to go for a walk."

"The house is roomy, bright and very clean! It is located in a perfect setting far enough away from traffic and busy streets but within minutes of small towns. The beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed playing pool and the theater room, when we had the time. We stayed for a friend’s wedding and the home was within 15 minutes of where the wedding was held. The host was very responsive as well! If we’re in the area for a long weekend stay, we’ll definitely be looking at renting this home again!"

"House was clean and worked well for what we needed. Owners are great-answered text's right away and answered all our needs . Could use a few more cooking pans and utensils. We were able to park in the garage-BUT it had not been cleaned in quite a while."

"Spacious and cool decor in a great location. Place could use a few updates but overall lovely house. Lots of breakable art, though, so be careful if you have small children."

"Adult children stayed for a nearby family event.They enjoyed the house and said it was comfortable. One bit of confusion….listing shows 2 bedrooms but description shows 3 bedrooms. There are only two..the “third” is apparently a sofa bed in the living room. Otherwise was ok."

"This is our second time staying here. We love this property. It's very comfortable, spacious, and the view is just amazing. Special bonus this time the water was low enough to walk down to the lower beach. No hesitation to stay a 3rd time."

"The ranger house is spacious with big kitchen, deck & living room, 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The deck is badly in need of refurbishing. There are sleeping cabins in the park so extra family members can join you. The path to the lake is hilly and the approach to the pier needs work. The kitchen did not have a toaster which was a real disappointment and we were unsuccessful trying to reach the host. There are a lot of pluses for this rental and we will probably use it again. The price &...
