"We stayed 3 nights in the Coach house recently. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Definitely 5* rooms however the whole place is let down by a few service issues.
- We had no wifi in our rooms for the entire stay. When we enquired about this on day 1 we were told that it sometimes doesn't work and no effort was made to fix the problem.
- Our plunge pool was filthy. There was sand in the bottom and when we looked at the neighbouring room's pool, ours was definitely green....

"It was a lovely property. Helpfully located for the vineyards via taxi. The area was under good security survelliance. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern and has a lot of art on show. Rooms were spacious and clean and the service was very good. Would definitely recommend "

"Fantastic stay in Franschhoek. The staff was extremely nice and helpfull. They booked dinner reservations for us and helped in every way.

"We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!"

"Uma joia em meio aos vinhedos de Stellenbosch. Há anos planejava a ida ao Clouds e nao me decepcionei. Ficamos na pool suite onde compartilhavamos a piscina apenas com o quarto do lado. É uma suíte nova, moderna, espaçosa e com a linda vista das montanhas. A equipe é muito bem trinada. Todos muito educados e solícitos. Agendamos transfer de ida e volta e passeio de meio dia nas vinícolas. Foi tudo excelente. Contudo achamos que o servico na cozinha pode melhorar para ficar a altura do hotel. Falta um pouco de sabor na comida e a montagem dos fronks tambem pode ser aprimorada. O ambiente publico do hotel parece uma casa e te faz se sentor muito a vontade. Obrigada Caches, Samantha, Jardene, Thuli, Leticha and Caroline. Quero muito agradecer também ao Ashton que fez um excelente servico de motorista nos transfers e passeios."
