"We stayed 3 nights in the Coach house recently. The rooms are fabulous and the views are stunning. Definitely 5* rooms however the whole place is let down by a few service issues. - We had no wifi in our rooms for the entire stay. When we enquired about this on day 1 we were told that it sometimes doesn't work and no effort was made to fix the problem. - Our plunge pool was filthy. There was sand in the bottom and when we looked at the neighbouring room's pool, ours was definitely green....

"Big and confortable family room, cosy swimming pool and made to order hot and cold breakfast. Yolanda was the best host one could hope for. Despite the city being on a power outage due to a fire on the main electricity source, the staff did the best they could to keep us confortable. Her tips and directions were spot on and made our 3 night stay at Nuwerus a memorable one! I would definitely stay @ Nuwerus again. "Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night.
