"We rented both the Maine House and the Country House next door for our small wedding weekend! Our family and close friends all had space to stay. The rain held off for us to do our ceremony out on the lawn, and then we went inside for dinner and dancing in the big room. It was perfect. The house has its quirks and it’s definitely a big old summer camp that could use a little maintenance, but it turned out really cute and exactly what we needed. "

"Outstanding.!! Very convenient for are needs. The chalet has ample space yet gives off a cozy vibe. The town of Rangely is a short drive if you need any supplies. "The house was a wonderful space for our family to get together with 7 adults and 3 kids, there was room for a few more if we had wanted! We loved the living room for game time and the connected kitchen and dining area worked well to keep everyone together at meal time. "My family loved our stay at this cozy home on the lake. The views of Porter Lake are stunning and nothing beats having your morning coffee while watching the sun rise up over the lake and listening to the loons say good morning. "We have been to many houses but this house is the best. The entire house is extremely well decorated and very very clean. "House has beautiful views , plenty of beds and everything you need from glasses to pots, pans, etc. all the little touches like digital lights, fans and fireplace make it a great property. At dusk a fifteen minute tide up 17 almost guarantees moose sightings. Kids had a blast in the game room. Master bedroom with couch , loveseat and tv is the perfect parent escape at night .
