Relax and enjoy our Million Dollar View

Our house is located on Beautiful Lake Wedowee and has a million dollar view of the lake.
The porch is a great place to sit and relax with outdoor dining , rocking chairs, and swings. In front of the porch is a grass courtyard that is also great for sitting and relaxing. There is a fire pit that is fun for roasting marshmallows or just sitting by the fire.

The house is perfect for large family and friend gatherings. It has a gourmet kitchen with large commercial refrigerator and freezer, gas commercial stove with six burners, a griddle, and two ovens. There is also a wine cooler, an ice machine, and two sinks.

The house has six large bedrooms with 4 king size beds and 4 queen size beds. It sleeps 16 comfortably.
We have a dock with a covered boat slip and a sun deck. It is located in a great area for swimming and fishing.

Our house is only a few miles from a marina with a public boat ramp. It is also close to town and near shopping and restaurant.

I need to thank Heather who was very accommodating to me and my family. The house was beautiful and the views “million dollar”. The house was beautiful and the kitchen was very big and efficient. Overall, i would definitely stay at this house again.

When the caption stated “Million Dollar View” they were not joking!!!! It was breathtaking This home was over the top!! Amazing kitchen, extremely clean, oversized bedrooms, a fantastic back porch lined with rocking chairs-I could go on!!!! There were 12 of us and it was so spacious!!! The host is amazing and when asked a question, the response was always prompt. This address will be kept in my file for future stays. All of us who came for our reunion thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You and your beautiful home made this year a memory we will not forget!!!

We loved this property! The kitchen was a dream! We loved the open layout and having bedrooms for everyone. Our host was very responsive to our questions. The covered boat dock was a life saver for the rains thay came.Thank you for hostong our family!

We had a great time. The house was awesome and exactly what we needed. We had a problem with the trashcans at the curb. They were full. The owner fixed that problem very quickly. She had her Dad empty the cans. The driveway and road to the dock was a different story. The cars were fine to turn around. You could not turn trucks around at all. We had to back up the driveway every time we left. It’s not an easy driveway to back up. We had to have a truck to shuttle people up and down to the dock. That part of the driveway was straight up. Our senior relatives would never have been able to walk up and down the driveway. That’s the only reason we will not rent this house again.

Beautiful view

Annual family gathering the home is beautiful and ,spacious, the outside seating is great with awesome views. The kitchen is large and the commercial refrigerator and freezer is definitely a plus. Also has a large capacity ice maker. The rooms are large and roomy with each one having its own bathroom. One of the rooms has a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is plenty of parking but can be challenging. If you have elders in your group and you plan on going down to the docks, plan on backing down to the dock area with your vehicle as there is no turn around down there. Overall we would definitely stay there again as we made great memories in a beautiful home and if you need to contact the host, which I did a couple of times, she responded right away. I can’t thank her enough for letting us enjoy her beautiful home.

Excellent Lake House for the family to enjoy

Heather (Owner) is great to do business with. So nice to work with the owner instead of a large company.Home was very nicely set up. Commercial kitchen with 6-burner gas stove and Waffle House size 3 burner grill. Two ovens, commercial fridge (side by side) and separate freezer. Also, a separate commercial ice maker located inside kitchen.Open garage style roof at entrance to load/unload and never get wet in rain. Then pull away and park in front of home.Beautiful view of river leading to lake. Only complaint for me was step drive to steps leading to water, but other than that excellent time with family.

Annual sibling reunion

Had a total of 10 adults. Each couple had a large bedroom and private bathroom. The open concept living room, dining area and kitchen are also well-sized for a large group. Kitchen is equipped with a six burner commercial gas range and commercial freezer and double refrigerators (game changer). We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this home for our family Christmas gathering. The home has everything you could possibly need. The large kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The owners communicate quickly and efficiently. We're looking forward to our next stay, hopefully during the warmer months so we can enjoy the lake.

Beautiful property

This was our group’s 2nd year of staying at Million Dollar View. The house is spectacular and suits us perfectly. It is very spacious so we have plenty of room to spread out, while the feel of the house is warm, cozy and welcoming. The home is clean and is equipped with everything we need for the stay. Communication with the owner is very thorough and easy. The owner went above and beyond for us this year when one of our group was effected by the hurricanes in October and we had to reschedule our stay. We will be returning again in 2025!

Had a Ball !!!

The host (Heather) was very accommodating and polite. She was willing to go out of her way to mail things that were left behind or forgotten (...although I could not allow her to do that. We settled for other arrangements since I didn't live far away!) The Property is absolutely beautiful. Or course the other reviews warn you that the hike back up from the dock area is a killer, but the view can still be enjoyed from the backyard....and this is very true. But those who enjoy a good workout, this will not be a problem. The kitchen actually made me want to cook in it....plenty of space to cook and maneuver around (The particular stove in the home is something from a dream...practically an inside grill. The only thing is you will have to make sure the grease pit is cleaned after every use or the smoke from the grill will be overwhelming). I would definitely book this again if we are looking to stay in Wedowee!

Perfect size house for sisters get away.

This house is the perfect size for everyone to have their own privacy. The living room, kitchen and dining room are open floor plan with plenty of space for everyone. It’s the best house we have stayed in yet, as far as size and accommodations. They have everything you need to be comfortable and not cramped. The porch seats had spider webs but we called Heather the owner and she had someone out there immediately to clean them. She is very easy host and returned messaged promptly. The access to the lake is down a steep driveway, so if you have mobility issues, you probably won’t be able to access it. The view however is beautiful. If you are looking for a quite get away and not looking to do a lot of shopping in town this place will be perfect for you. However, they do have some cute boutiques that we enjoyed visiting. You can’t go wrong with this place.

Great home!

Great Retreat!

This property was perfect for our needs! Everything was as advertised. The porch is amazing with fans and truly a million dollar view. Heather was prompt and easy to work with. We would d ed burly use this property again.

Great spot for large group

The house was so comfortable and set up well for large groups/meals with huge freezer/fridge and oven/griddle. It was something of a hike to the dock but plenty of room to hang out down there (in shade or sun) and outdoor area upstairs was so nice and allowed us to enjoy beautiful views playing games on the porch while the kids ran around the green space. Heather was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Loved our stay and hope to be back!

Awesome view and home

By far one of the best Vrbo’s I’ve stayed at. View was amazing and the house was move in ready. Grill had propane and there was dry wood for the fire pit. Everything was as good or better than advertised. 10/10 would recommend.

So awesome!

The house so so clean and beautifully set up for large groups! Good beds and bedding, and enough bathrooms for everyone. Views are amazing! Having two level s of driveways! Driving the levels is better than walking, but a few did it. The yard was perfect for games and we appreciated the yard games in the closet. Now the kitchen- a chef created this kitchen, it’s amazing and has enough space to cook for many! Thanks so much! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Annual New Years trip

My wife and I take our kids and grandkids on an annual New Years trip to a lakefront property. This was our first time at Heather’s property and it was absolutely great. It easily accommodated our large group. The view is amazing, and the location is private. We have already booked it for next year. Heather was great to deal with and very responsive throughout the booking process and during/after our stay. The size of the commercial fridge/freezer is fantastic for large groups. Can’t say enough good things about this clean and spacious house.

Family Gathering

House and property are beautiful! The home has a great layout and very spacious. We cooked all meals for a large group with plenty of space and lots of room for everyone to gather comfortably. Easy check-in and out - owner easy to contact and responds quickly. We would definitely stay here again and thank you Heather for renting out your amazing home.
