About the space:

The house is great for friend & family gatherings, wedding groups, bachelorette & bachelor getaways, work retreats and more. The main level consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 3 beds while the lower level is a 2 bedroom, 1 full bath, 4 bed apartment. The 8th bed is a blowup mattress and there is a travel crib as well. Both floors have full kitchens, master bedrooms, full bathrooms, laundry rooms, living rooms. The floors are connected inside by stairs but both have separate, private driveways and entrances. You can lock the levels off from each other if that is desired. Vaulted ceilings, open floor plans, ample natural light, modern & rustic design / furnishings / decor, every amenity I could think of, comfortable beds and many of my plant pets will hopefully make you feel at home. The space is warm, inviting, peaceful, reliable and fully stocked with everything you'll need for any occasion.

Designing, renovating and furnishing the house gave me plenty to do over the last couple of years - my "Covid Project." I put a lot of my heart (and sweat!) into this house and hope you will love it as much as I do if you end up booking with me.

The airbnb is owned and managed by me (Giffin) - not hired out to a management company nor owned by a large corporation or out of town investor. As an avid traveler, frequent short term rental guest and newer host I hope to create the best airbnb experience for you. I will do everything I can to make sure you have a wonderful stay.

Guest access:

Guests have access to the entire house, both driveways, yard. The only exceptions are the upper and lower garages and hallway owner closet which are secured.

The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is a quiet and safe subdivision consisting of large lots surrounded by trees, mountain views and an abundance of wildlife. Plenty of privacy and low traffic makes it great for walking, running, walking dogs or just spending time in the front or back yards, porches and deck.

Getting Around:

The 2 driveways can fit 6+ vehicles. If additional parking is needed please park along the grass above the fire pit. Quick access to 26 makes everything very accessible:

13 minutes to Mars Hill and the University
18 minutes to the Biltmore Estate
18 minutes to Grove Park Inn

Cleaning:

My wonderful cleaner and I take cleaning very seriously. She has decades of experience from vacation rentals to 5-star hotels. The house is deep cleaned, disinfected and inspected between every stay. Yes, that includes comforters, duvet covers, blankets. We wash everything. Many bug preventative measures in place including: house treatment, exterior treatment, steam cleaning, high heat cleaning, mattress and pillow protectors, caulking of baseboards, inspection and documentation before and after your stay. Motion security cameras located at exterior entryways and drive. Wi-Fi and hardwired with backup storage in cases of power outage. Security system turned off upon your arrival and on after you leave.
