A Fijian community homestay.The place of learning our famous traditional culture,local yummy dishes,and the unchallenged eco surroundings.It will be an adventure..Remain disconnected from the world with the rhythm of FIJI TIME will wrap everything up.You will not want to leave.Don't forget to take part in our fabulous daily activities. It will add up to your vacation.Come and enjoy it.
We are located on the island of wayasewa in the Yasawa group.So,the only option of getting here is by boat transfer.I can arrange pickup from Nadi or nearby islands at reasonable price.
You will definitely enjoy everything in here..

Wonderfull stay here

We had a wonderful time! Bill and Paula were incredibly kind and welcomed us with open arms. We ate very well, and the room was very clean. Thanks to Bill, we were able to swim with the reef sharks, and it was amazing!Thank you for everything; we miss you!

Snorkeling with the sharks was amazing. You need to ask Bill to take you on this excursion. Accommodation is basic -as you should expect for the price - but has everything you need. Food was good and plentiful.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 16y, 10y, 3y) stayed here for 3 nights. Bill and Pola were amazing, 10/10 recommend this beautiful homestay to any families wanting to experience the real Fiji.Communication during planning was excellent, Bill took care of everything including road transfers from our hotel on the coral coast then a trip in his open top boat to the island. He organised a package for us including snorkelling with sharks, picnic lunch at blue lagoon, limestone caves and manta rays.Pollas meals were delicious and plentiful, with enough variety to cater for everyone.The whole village was very welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at our Wayasewa homestayPaula’s cooking was outstandingShe really went over and above with local culinary delightsWe had the beach accommodation to ourselves and it was very spacious We especially loved the company of little Iva our homestay’s grandaughter One week was a little too long though

We absolutely loved our time with Bill and Paula at the homestay. It was such an awesome experience for our family. We were welcomed immediately into the village and we throughly enjoyed village life. Our boys played with the local children and everyone was super friendly. The snorkelling around the island was incredible and the snorkelling with the sharks experience and drift snorkelling in the Manta passage was amazing. Paula's cooking was next level and she ensured we were never hungry, there was plenty of fresh local food prepared for us. Bill shared lots of local information and knowledge around the islands. He communication was great and very helpful. We would have very happily stayed longer than 4 nights that we had. This is an experience that we will hold very fondly for years to come!

Bill and Paula, along with their family are gracious hosts! We enjoyed our stay and excursions. Our 4 children ages 5 to 11, enjoyed the snorkeling and the boat rides and the food and the company!

'Fiji time' has never been so accurate

We loved our authentic island village stay with Bill and Paula's on Wayasewa island in the Yamata village. The accomodation has a simple uncomplicated vibe and is located beside the beach.

Paradise and a taste of Fijian island life

We had a truely wonderful experience with Bill, Polla, their children and their grandchildren. All of them played a part to contribute to a meaningful and authentic time in their island village. The snorkelling straight out from the accommodation was amazing and the day trips that Bill and Ebo took us on were unforgettable. We felt safe on their boat, and had full bellies every mealtime from Polla and Nani’s exceptional cooking skills. We were treated to Fijian fruits and vegetables and lots of freshly caught fish- some of which we caught ourselves!A truely unforgettable off grid and unplugged experience.Vinaka vaka levu

Incredible experience

This 3 night stay was by far the highlight of our entire 2 week holiday in Fiji. The accommodation was 5 steps to the ocean, with the most incredible views and sunsets! We travelled with our 6 and 3 year olds and they thoroughly enjoyed their stay too, particularly meeting all the local children!The food was AMAZING! We are vegetarian so did worry, but they accommodated so well for us and we were always very full.My eldest turned 6 during our stay and we were lucky enough to be invited into the village where Paula, bill and all the local villagers celebrated his birthday with a cake and traditional kava ceremony. It was just beautiful.We were also invited to the church with them, which was a lovely experience.I am seriously considering coming back within the next few months!!

Must go for a real traditional Fijian experience

Bill and his family were great hosts. We had a few hiccups with a broken water line but it was fixed quickly. We had the Honor of attending the 1yr passing celebration of their chief. The food and hospitality was fantastic. The weather wasn't on our side most of the trip

Beautiful Community, Wonderful Experience

Lovely Fijian cabin stay on a remote island, with everything cared for by Paula and Bill. The kids all played really well in the waves, and we loved snorkelling with reef sharks and beautiful fish. Thank you B&P and the whole community who welcomed us.

Great tribal village experience

Bill and his family supplied us with an authentic tribal village iexperience. Got to live the native island life for 3 days. Eat their food, live in their accommodations, meet the village people and visit some amazing islands. Hospitality was top notch.

Thanks Polla and Sarah for their warm hospitality. The house is basic but that is a life experience with local village people which is what i like. It is not a holiday resort. Bill also welcomed me to their family lunch gathering on Sunday. The location is nice and relaxed but i like walked to the sandbar for swimming where is about 15 to 20mins walk.

My son and I stayed with Bill and Paula and it was amazing. If you want to experience remote versus resort, this is where you go! I felt lucky being there and learning about village life and Bill and Paula's family, which touched my heart. It was extremely special in so many ways. Hearing the nightly village bell and drums calling villagers to church, eating fresh food prepared by Paula from the garden and trees, sunset hand line fishing with Bill, snorkeling with the sharks, walking down the beach to sand bar at low tide, and walking through the village. I dont know if will be ever be on that side of the world again, but if i ever was in the area again, I honestly would stop by and say hello. I miss Bill and Paula! It was a tearful goodbye!

Amazing experience

Could not recommend this highly enough. Bill and Paula are amazing generous hosts, and when you stay with them, you are will be living with the whole village and the whole island. If you want an experience that will create memories that stay with you, this is the one.

Wonderful off-grid village homestay

Bill and Paula are such kind and gracious hosts. My two teens and I enjoyed the privilege of being welcomed into two Fijian villages, eating Paula’s nutritious food, boating to an uninhabited island and great snorkeling beyond the second village. A truly special experience that ended with them taking us back to the mainland by long boat.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Bill und seiner Familie. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war das Wetter nicht so gut, deshalb konnten/wollten wir keine Ausflüge machen. Wir haben die Zeit gemütlich im Haus, im Dorf und am Strand verbracht. Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht und keinen Luxus braucht, sollte man unbedingt hierherkommen! Danke nochmals an Bill und seine Familie!

Amazing Fiji experience

We had the best time staying with Bill and Polla and their family. Bill was great at communicating before we arrived and we arranged transfer with him to and from our stay. Pollas food was delicious, portions were very generous and such a big variety of meals! The island is so beautiful and staying with Bill and Polla is a great way to experience the real Fiji. The snorkling with sharks experience was incredible. Their son was home for the long weekend and took us out for the sunset fishinng trip and along to the sand bar. Make sure to read Bills description as this is a real Fiji experience and not for everyone but we would recommend to anyone that wants to see more than the resorts. Thank you Bill and Polla for being so welcoming and kind and opening your home up to us.

True Fiji village experience

We stayed in the beach house with our 5, 3 and 1 year old kids for 3 nights. Bill and Paula are genuinely kind people and made our stay very enjoyable. Bill was happy to arrange activities and transportation for us, while Paula cooked amazing dishes. Do not expect an ounce of comfort, but it’s worth the true Fiji family and village experience.

Initial culture shock was quickly overcome and from airport transfers, full board and activities Bill will arrange it all. We felt at home, safe and part of the community. Amazing experience

We had a wonderful time! Our host Polla was so caring and helpful and made us feel a part of village life. Her cooking was fantastic! The bungalow by the beach was basic but had everything we needed and was an excellent location. We really got to experience true Fiji. Visiting the school and joining in the rugby were great, and attending church and the amazing singing was a highlight. We also enjoyed snorkelling, a sunset hike and many relaxing hours by the beach. Polla was incredibly busy but still made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this home stay!

Awesome place awesome experience.

Bill, his family and their village were wonderful. It was an experience of traditional island life. We stayed in a little bungalow right on the beach. The cooking was AMAZING. I would recommend bringing some snacks with you if you're a person who likes to snack but in the ways on main meals the food is delicious. Absolutely come and stay here! 3 days was perfect for us and our two year old son. Very child friendly! So much fun and we're completely relaxed after 3 days in paradise not lifting a finger!
