We stayed at this property with my family for my daughter's graduation. The home was well-equipped and carefully arranged for our stay. It was truly stunning, and we loved sipping our morning coffee on the porch and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings. I would highly recommend it!

This was our third time vacationing at Ray’s Rustic Retreat and it is always such a great experience. Our grandchildren love the fishing, the paddleboat and having so many outdoor games available for them to play. The property inside and out is absolutely spotless and very well maintained. Each year that we have spent time there they continue to make improvements to help make your stay an enjoyable one… but honestly…they wouldn’t need to make any more changes, as it is absolutely perfect now!! So happy to be able to enjoy this magnificent cabin! Maureen and Jim are amazing hosts and always make sure that you have whatever you need in order to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Thank you Maureen and Jim!

We just returned from another wonderful stay at our absolute favorite “home away from home” and it did not disappoint! This charming rural retreat has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway.The highlight for our whole family was the exclusive, breathtaking view of the private lake right from the front porch. Sitting out there on the rocking chairs with the plush grass stretching down to the water’s edge was pure bliss - morning coffee, evening sunsets, and everything in between felt magical. It’s the kind of peaceful scenery that makes you want to unplug and just soak it all in.The cabin itself is comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly situated for quiet, nature-filled days. We can’t wait to come back again next year. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a true escape!

Amazing experience

My buddies and I really enjoyed the cozy space and the beautiful property. We did a lot of sports outdoors and fished a lot- perfect getaway spot- highly recommend!

We have been coming to Ray’s Rustic Retreat for many years and it never fails to impress! As soon as you drive through the gate and view the stunning home and property you know you have come to a very special place. Once you enter the home you will find a charming, very comfortable and extremely clean cabin. The hosts, Maureen and Jim, go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could possibly need or want for a wonderful stay! The kitchen is very well appointed, the beds and furniture very comfy and there are many games and activities for both the old and young to enjoy. There is a beautiful bar down stairs for the adults to enjoy, or, as our granddaughters do, turn it into a great “ slushie shack”! One of our favorite things to do while there is relax on the fantastic porch, enjoy the company of family, have morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail and take in the beautiful scenery and appreciate all Ray’s Rustic Retreat has to offer!

This was our 3rd year at Rays Rustic Retreat. We so enjoy the area, it is quiet, we watched the deer, walked and played games on the beautiful porch. The whole camp is immaculate andJim and Maureen are always willing to help.if needed. A great place to stay.

Amazing property

We had a great stay. The place was perfect for a family stay with entertainment space, lots of activities. the large pond was beautiful, the dock, kayaks and pattle boat were enjoyable. We'll be back

Fabulous Getaway

This was my 4th or 5th stay at Ray's Rustic Retreat and it is a great property. The property is gorgeous! It is very quiet, clean and spacious. The property owner is great and is very accommodating. Perfect for a family getaway or a girls weekend!

Best properties so amazing, and Maureen the host is so easy to communicate with and if there is an issue, which is very seldom, she is there to fix it immediately. This has been our forth stay on this property, and we will come back for many years to come. There is something to do for everyone without even having to leave the property. Everything is spotless when you walk in the beds are very comfy, the kitchen is very well stocked, and the whole atmosphere makes you wish you could stay forever.

Five plus

We love coming here every year and it just feels like coming home. But each time we visit there's a different experience - like baby geese one time, beautiful sunsets another, this year the lunar eclipse which we could see clearly from the porch. It's a great place to call our second home.

Ray's Retreat Is a Gem!

Ray's Retreat is just that. A beautiful setting to enjoy all that Central New York has to offer. If you are hiking, antiquing, visiting the local college campuses or just "retreating," this is the place.
