We plan a getaway at least once a year to decompress and specifically look for a place that offers an outdoor hot tub with a view. High winds prior to our arrival damaged the hot tub cover lift, but we were able to wedge a couple of boards against the HT so we could more easily manage moving the cover. While Creekside cottage does have a nice view from the HT, the picture in the ad (as of this posting) is not the hot tub/view at Creekside cottage (hot tub is set near the front of the cabin with stairs and cabin on one side, privacy fence blocking the road on another, and views looking towards the steep bluff with stream running below - can't really see the stream from the HT). The cabin was clean and provided most needed necessities. It's too bad they didn't build the cabin with larger windows or glass sliders to take full advantage of the surrounding views it has to offer - stream and rocky bluff to the west and sloping hillside to the east. We did figure it out, but something to note is that the thermostat on the main level controls the heating upstairs while there's a separate thermostat in the basement that controls the main level. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or re-book Creekside cottage in the future.
