"Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

"We enjoyed our two night stay here! Walking distance to Talisker distillery, close drive to Fairy Pools. We used it as a base to see other sights on Skye - Quaraing, Kilt Rock and Falls, Old Man of Storr and Portree. The cottage was spacious and comfortable for our group of 5. Lovely views from the cottage as well!"

"This was the cutest cabin we've stayed in. It was clean, everything we needed to make dinner and breakfasts was available. Lizzie was extremely helpful and would respond quickly when I had questions. I would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you for the wonderful stay in Skye!"

"This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. "

"We loved the apartment- it felt like home away from home. The views of the ocean and surrounding mountains were breathtaking. We really loved the location- it was very quiet, we had access to a small grocery store right down the road, and were close to many of the top spots to visit on Skye. We also loved meeting our hosts Tricia and Neil, who were very kind, helpful, considerate and friendly. We will definitely be back! "

"We had a wonderful stay at Tides Uig. The pictures do not capture how beautiful the view is from the home. We also loved the daily visits from the local sheep.
