They do hound you a little in the mornings for room service so don't expect a lay in at this place! "The rooms are very nice with the perfect view of the pool and ocean. There is unfortunately no swimming allowed in the ocean in front of the hotel. We found the staff a little unorganized at times but would still highly recommend this hotel. "

"Mount Lavinia hotel is in an amazing location with a phenomenal view. The F&B staff and food is excellent and very friendly. There was a games room with a pool table and table tennis table which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. There is work to be done in renovating the hotel and parts of the building to restore it to it’s former grandeur, but all in all a great place to base yourself and enjoy the beautiful and serene waves, lovely pool and mesmerising sunset you can see on the terrace.
