"We did a vacation with my family, first time not camping in Door County. We had 10 adults, this house accomadated us great. The location was perfect for us as we really utilize the state park. The back yard was very private and provided lots of space for us to play yard games, the woods next to the property is state park land, my husband was very much enjoying looking for morel mushrooms and ramps. He found a few morels and many ramps. There were a few issues with things like the refrigerator...

"Beautiful house with a peaceful location and gorgeous view! House was very clean and well maintained except for the floors-white socks were black pretty quickly. Lots of nice extras like beach towels, fire pit, grill, coffee were included. Comfy beds and AC worked well. "

"Everything in the cottage was beautiful, color coordinated. Darla thought of everything for the kitchen and bath. Top quality towels, bedding, comfortable beds, ceiling fans. Plus Darla is a lovely person, herself! The cottage was perfect for a couple."

"We absolutely loved this quaint cottage. There were so many thoughtful details such as small flashlights on the bedside tables, q-tips in the bathroom, plenty of dishes and cookware, a picnic table to enjoy meals outside and a beautiful view. We felt so comfortable and the property was quiet which we loved. Communication was excellent with the hosts. I would recommend this stay to anyone. We are hoping to come back this fall! "

"Charming cottage ideal for families or two couples. Tasteful decor and everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Extra linens and beach towels were much appreciated. Location was peaceful and quiet, yet only 10-15m drive to many Door County parks and destinations. As other reviews have noted, a little extra cleaning attention could be given to the bathroom and kitchen. We would love to stay again and hope the washing machine can be repaired (this was a key criteria for us in selecting a Door...

"We had such a wonderful stay! The house was clean, well appointed, tons of extras ( we played at least 6 games of ransom notes) and the location was fantastic. Quiet and felt secluded (we saw deer almost nightly) while easy drive to attractions and walkable to great breakfast options. Would love to stay again!"
