Wonderful Stay!

We stayed at this property for a family DC trip and were very happy here! There was room for everyone, the property was in a perfect location, and it was very nice and clean! Even with a tiny hiccup at the beginning of the trip, the owner was insanely fast (she showed up within minutes!!) and remedied the situation immediately. Parking in the back was great- even with an extended cab truck. I completely recommend this rental! We will be back!

DC Trip to Find Student Housing

Our family had a great stay in Washington DC in general, and the V Street property in particular. The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. There's a small park behind the home that was perfect for walking the dog, and off-street parking at the home. Would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

We had an amazing stay! The property was immaculate and so well-stocked. We wanted for nothing when we were in the home. The location was great. City Get-Away

All of our guests were immediately impressed by this home. The accommodations were immaculate, supplies were provided for anything we needed and extra treats were left to welcome us. I grilled one night on the back patio and enjoyed the view of the park and neighborhood. The BEST house we have stayed in this year!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

This home is in a quiet location and within walking distance for coffee, food, etc. Parking was easy. Home had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. It was stocked with water, snacks, toiletries, plenty of towels, paper goods, and the like. Beds were comfy and the ability to control the air was a must; it was definitely cool. Seating for eating and relaxing was also comfy. Though we spent most of our days out and about, it was nice to come back to a place that felt like home. I am definitely recommending this location as a great place to stay.

Excellent Host, Charming Neighborhood, Great Home

Although we chose this home because of its proximity to the Washington Hospital Center, we really enjoyed the home and the neighborhood. Bloomindale is a charming neighborhood, and the home is directly next to a small park where families have picknicks with small children and folks are walking their dogs. A great location to explore DC from and then get away from the hustle and bustle while still being in the middle of it all. A very clean and spacious home. The owner, Schannette, was a delight to work with. We definitely recommend this home!

Great place to stay

I felt at home as soon as I walked in. Itā€™s a wonderful home with a beautiful kitchen, lovely deck, and a fabulous little park right outside the back door. There are some convenient shops and restaurants nearby. Itā€™s a great house in a great neighborhoodā€¦ whatā€™s not to love? The floors are a bit ā€˜slopeyā€™, but thatā€™s what character is all about. I would say, however, but if you have party members with mobility issues - you may find the stairs a challenge - as there are no bedrooms in the ground floor. That wasnā€™t an issue for use, however. We loved it!

Weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in DC. We were celebrating a high school graduation with family and it was the largest group we ever tried to travel with. The house was clean and gave us the space we needed. Worth noting that the Metro station is a 15-20 min walk. We did not mind this at all, but some might. There is a lovely little park out back and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching people walk their dogs and play with kids.

This home and the host made our visit to D.C. the best!!

This was the most welcoming VRBO we have ever stayed at. The host responded quickly to all questions and was particularly helpful in getting us a car tag for parking.The home was immaculate and very comfortable. Don't worry if you forgot something, it was stocked from snacks, water, soap, etc..... We enjoyed the deck daily after visiting the state's capitol. the neighbors were very friendly. I highly recommend this home. We would rent this home again.

First time in DCā€¦. Wow were we lucky with the decision to book this place! Ultra cleanā€¦.. beautiful neighborhoodā€¦ā€¦ close to everythingā€¦. Host was very easy to communicate with! Great place for families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our group of 7. The house was clean and comfortable. The host left many little extras that were a nice surprise! It is a 15-20 minute walk to the Shaw Metro station so there is easy access to all the downtown attractions. Highly recommended!
