Welcome to our cozy 2-bed, 1-bath condo in the heart of Ballston! Enjoy a quick walk to the metro and Ballston Quarter, where you'll find endless dining and entertainment options. Conveniently located, we're only 10-20 minutes away from major attractions like Washington DC and the National Harbor. Our space is perfect for those seeking comfort and accessibility while exploring the best of the area. In our condo, we offer two queen beds and a sofa bed that converts into a double bed that sleeps 2. The unit has high-speed WiFi, a smart 70inch TV, and a full-size paid washer/dryer. In the kitchen, you’ll find coffee(Keurig and Ground Coffee), creamer, sugar, and other basic kitchen necessities. Dish and laundry soap are provided, as are shampoo, soap, a blow dryer, clean towels, and bed linens. There are grocery stores, many restaurants, and services nearby. You have one spot on the driveway and a spot in our parking lot to park in. As our valued guests, you'll have exclusive access to the entire condo, ensuring a private and comfortable stay. A great property in close proximity to restaurants and the metro station. Clean. Very good shower. Big kitchen. Big TV. Great communications with host. Great neighborhood. I would stay here again. It was in close proximity by car to Georgetown University and the Georgetown Hospital We were in town for medical treatment. Pet friendly. We brought our dog.

We arrived at 3:45pm. Check-in was 3pm. Place was a mess. We had to change to be at an event. We had no time to wait for someone to come clean house. I called owner and told him we couldn’t stay and I wanted a refund. The contract had been breached. The place was not ready for us when promised. His response was, “You do what you need to do and I’ll do what I need to do.” So I asked, “Does that mean you’ll give me a refund?” And he hung up. We took pictures and I called VRBO and sent them the pics. They called him and he lied and said the place was clean. They sent him the pictures and somehow he is still able to not give me a refund. Very disappointing. The previous peoples’ food was still in the fridge, beds not made, towels on the floor, and the stench of whatever was cooked before. We were worried that someone might be coming back so we couldn’t leave out stuff. Bottom line is terrible experience and rude owner.

The apartment was clean, had a very large television, and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for a short walk to the Metro station for exploring DC. The only negative is that it’s an older home with 4 apartments, and we had people above us the final night of our stay, and you could hear ever step they took below where we were. If you’ve lived in an apartment or older home this probably won’t bother you…but if you’re sensitive to other noise this may not be the ideal place for you.

Overall the stay was great!! We stayed one night my only complaints would be that the place was supposed to be available at 3 and when we got there we wait 30 mins on cleaning lady to finsh couch wasn't comfortable at all for any of us but again we enjoyed our stay wasnt any issue checking in....

The area was nice and quiet and the apartment was neat and clean. My only concern was that parking is steep and a bit small for a larger vehicle. There were a few uncovered outlets and the kitchen light switch did not work properly. Other than that it was a nice stay with very comfy beds!

A quick overnight

We were in town for a concert with our kiddos. This condo was perfect for us. Its in a beautiful neighborhood. Quiet and very comfortable. Also, perfectly located for easy access to DC with lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. Our host was very kind and responsive when I had questions regarding check-in. Would absolutely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return.

House is in a good location. Wasn’t clean on arrival but was done shortly afterwards. Kitchen was good. Bathroom needs some fixing. Toilet needs some repair. Good overall.

It was clean and worked for us. There was a washer and dryer but it was in the basement and we needed quarters to use them. Overall it was a nice place. Small but we weren't there much besides to sleep and shower.

Biggest challenge was that we did not have key code to get it. Ceiling repair and mold issue in bathroom needs attention. Only one large towel per guest. No extra sheets for pull out sofa. Toaster broken.

Serviceable

This rental is the first floor of a two-story structure. It was ok. The good: The neighborhood feels safe. It's easy walking distance to restaurants and a Target that has groceries. It has two dedicated parking spots. It was clean. The not so good: Poor sound insulation from second floor. We could hear footsteps, the shower and loud conversations. Parking for a third vehicle during the weekdays is very limited in the neighborhood. There is patch of mold on the bathroom ceiling where the pipes above apparently leaked. And other little things like no washcloths, lack of toilet paper, burnt out light bulb, limited kitchen utensils and no dressers in the bedrooms. Bottom line: It's serviceable, but in my opinion, not worth what we paid for it.

It worked

This worked well enough. We were not there much and did not use many of the amenities, but it was as advertised. The beds were comfortable, but the couches were not. There was black mold in the bathroom ceiling and mildew on the bathtub floor that would need to be remediated before I could recommend it to anyone or use it again.

DC VACATION

Overall the property was as described. The upstairs occupants were a bit noisy, moving furniture and just walking was heard quite loudly. The outside of the property and the bedrooms need to be upgraded. The den, kitchen and bathroom are nice. The main point of issue is the couch and loveseat. They may look new but they are extremely uncomfortable to the point we could not sit for long.

Looks good in the pictures

I picked the rental because of it's location, that was the only benefit. Opening the door, I was hit with a wall of extremely strong chemical scent. It was pervasive. I first tried to open the windows, which are screwed shut, and then to find a plug in air freshener, which didn't exist. I eventually found a 2 gallon jug of cheap cleaning solution with a horrible odor which must have been sprayed on all the surfaces in the unit. After 20 minutes, my eyes were burning, and I had a headache, and couldn't concentrate. I tried to move on, and take a shower, to only discover the bathroom sink was not cleaned, and there was a lot of long black hair stuck to the soap scum to it. There were 2 towels, the cheapest towels available at Dollar General, both of which were stained and wet. When I opened the bed, I not only found a used tissue, but also that the sheets were also the cheapest available at Dollar General. Thin and polyester, not much higher quality than a plastic grocery store bag. I did contact the owner, and they offered to 'detail' the unit at their convenience. I'm not sure what 'detail' means, but I believe they need to make this a superfund site just due to the odor of the 'cleaner' they use.

Great apartment. Very nicely set up and clean. Supplies of coffee and other disposables were great. Ice to have driveway parking. Would totally rent again. Only minor drawback was the sound from the upstairs people ( older house can’t totally control).

It was okay for the purpose we stayed there for. At times , we were barely there , because the neighborhood this VRBO was in, was interesting enough. There were plenty restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. This is something we loved. The neighborhood was pretty quiet yet other units, or the other unit in the building , was pretty noisy sometimes. So, if anyone wants a quiet getaway, idk, but if you love Ballston quarter area, you or your partner or friends, I would stay here.

My mom and I enjoyed our stay over the long holiday weekend. It was close and convenient to my sister and family. The place was perfect...easy to access local restaurants and transportation.
