"I usually don’t write reviews but my experience with this hotel was very poor. I spent close to $150 for a one night stay. I was not able to check in until 2 hours after check in because the rooms still needed to be clean, which was totally fine. Once I finally got my room I noticed the door to the room does not latch and can be pushed right open without a key. The door was missing part of the metal frame for it to latch or dead bolt. "This is my third stay at Suburban Studios over the last couple of years. In addition tobeing a great location right off the highway and a good stopping point along my journey, the staff and site are very welcoming. It is nice to have a full kitchen on long journeys. I travel between Minnesota and Virginia twice a year and Suburban Studios will always be my go to!"

"THE DIRTIEST NASTY HOTEL I EVER STAYED IN MY LIFE.. FROM THE LOBBY ALL THE WAY TO THE BATHROOM! I left the hotel immediately couldnt even sleep in there!! the smell of cigarette, burned beds bathroom disgusting. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I WISH I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK"

"Very convenient for people who is driving and specially taking a dog ( they don’t charge ) . The facilities are ok for a night . Pretty good shower."

"It was not disclosed that the property was under construction, the pictures on line were of the completed property. When checking in, we were given a double queen when we booked a King, and the front desk was not apologetic at all, just "sorry, nothing I can do about it". Also, there wasn't a working ice machine to be found. Upon showering, there was also no conditioner, container was empty. Poor experience over all."
