The Neighborhood:
The beautiful three-story townhouse on Wilcza Street traces its history all the way back to the late 19th century. It was built in 1897 on the order of Jan Mayer and has survived to the present day. Its artfully renovated facade is decorated with eclectic elements made, among other things, of so-called Romanesque cement - once an extremely popular building material. The front of the building has been completely renovated, at the same time restoring its splendor of more than 130 years ago and preserving, in part, its original architectural characteristics. Entering the building, one can step back to the 1930's period or the early 20th century. This place is a historical postcard of the elegant past. The building is located in the very center of Warsaw. The Śródmieście district is a perfect area to get acquainted with restaurants from all over the world, enjoy the rich cultural offer and visit numerous shopping and service points. The famous Koszyki Hall is just five minutes away from the apartment. On foot, the famous Palace of Culture and Science can be reached in just ten minutes, as well as the nearest subway station Politechnika or Centrum station, located right next to PKiN. In addition, the place is well connected with the rest of Warsaw - the nearest bus stop is located just two minutes from the building.
