"This property was older, but some parts had been remodeled. The furniture was a little dated, but that doesn’t bother me when I see how clean the room and bathroom was. The pool and hot tub were also very clean. We stay in a lot of hotel rooms and I was impressed. The staff was very nice and accommodating as well, but most of that probably has to do with rural Missouri. I’m from Missouri myself and we were in town for a funeral."

"Great place. We loved the historical signs and display cases with artifacts around the hotel. The celebration in the town square was a nice bonus. Very quiet and quaint. I wish we'd have had more time to do a little fishing."

"I traveled in with my husband for a fishing tournament. The location is perfect for getting to the lake. While he was pre fishing I stayed on the porch and got a lot of work done on a big project with zero distractions! Peaceful Progress.
