"The Black Magnolia was the perfect retreat/getaway! The house, impeccably clean, is centrally located and within walking distance to all the town sights and restaurants. Should you choose to take the trolly to the wineries, it picks up at the front door! The home is far enough away from the train tracks, you don’t hear the hustling of the cars or the warning horn. "This property is perfect for a large family gathering! Plenty of bedrooms and extra mattresses for the kids to sleep on, but wonderful spaces indoors and out for everyone to gather. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook a meal for a crowd. The pool is a hit with the grandchildren (and their parents!). Donna is a wonderful host and is very accommodating. We highly recommend this property if you need space for a large group."

"We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was even better than expected—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of space for everyone to relax. The location was perfect, close to the golf course, but still quiet and peaceful. The host was fantastic to work with, very responsive and thoughtful, which made the whole process easy. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!"

"We were in town to see family as we are from St. Louis but currently live in Denver. We booked with VRBO because we recently purchased a puppy and the price was much more affordable than getting a hotel room . The location was close to everything the highway, eateries, movies, etc. Plenty of space and very peaceful. The owner is very responsive and answered every question we had. We will definitely book again."

"Very clean. We enjoyed the stay. Not very far from downtown Hermann. Great stargazing at night. I saw 4 shooting stars and my daughter was able to see Andromeda. We wished we had a stronger telescope and binoculars. The king size bed was very comfortable. My husband actually slept in late for a change. We will definitely be back. "
