"The property is incredible and the view is spectacular. Would highly recommend for any size outing. If you want a nice workout, try the Paddy Mountain Trail, a new facility in West Jefferson. The host was very responsive."

"The house was wonderful as was the host. Perfect size the 2 couples with 2 beds and 2 full bathrooms. Loved that the bedrooms had luggage stands, no suitcases on the floor!The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to town, the hill going back to the house may be challenging for some."

"The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. "My wife, dog and I spent three nights at this wonderful home in late July in order to escape the stifling heat in Raleigh. It more than met our expectations. The home was well maintained, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished with many solid wood pieces of furniture. The kitchen had granite countertops and was loaded with appliances. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch with my wife. "
