"Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that."

"Clean, comfortable, good food in the restaurant. Breakfast OK (but not better than OK). No AC and right beside train tracks and busy road so on hot nights there will be some noise in your room. Parking was full when we arrived due to busy restaurant. Had to park across the road at the train station until parking was available at the inn."

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite. Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"Great location for this hotel in centre of Corfe Castle with parking which is a plus as the village doesn’t have many places to park. We booked a garden room for two nights and were a little disappointed as the garden rooms are all described as spacious and within their own walled garden. The photo shown on their website does not in any way look the same as the one we had. The room we were given was very small and dark and had tiny awning windows. "Lovely room - great use of space, beautiful comfortable bed with excellent bedding had brilliant night sleep. So much storage, excellent tea tray with everything you could require. Bathroom was really nice loved the shower and separate toilet, plenty of toiletries and towels. Breakfast at the pub next door was lovely with plenty of choice and being on the high street was close to all the amenities. Only very minor detail was the parking was a bit tight but small small detail. Will be back"

"Amazing location. The beach is on your doorstep. Really friendly staff on arrival. Not so great in the bar and at breakfast. Didn’t have the same personal feeling / vibe for everyone . Could not fault the view or the area surrounding the hotel. Really enjoyed going across the water on the chain ferry. Would visit again for the location."

However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. "The property was okay, but not worth it for the price in my opinion. The bathtub in our room was broken when we checked-in - the side was completely falling off. The beds were very uncomfortable - I could literally feel every spring in the mattress. The gym didn't open until 9:30 a.m. during the week, which was super inconvenient and we were therefore unable to use is. Overall, our stay was just okay."
