We arrived just after 12 midday and asked if we can check in on their system but not leave any bags as we were aware that check in was at 3pm. We planned to go to the beach and didn’t want to check in at 11pm (the time we got back) however the owner who was behind the desk with another man said we could check in but the other person kept saying “I don’t think we can”
Well maybe try or just point blank say I can’t be bothered no!
We were a large group of 3 families in family rooms. We also asked to have our rooms next to each other and yes you guessed it, No!
My cousins room, the tap would not shut and the teenagers manning the reception at night didn’t have a clue what to do and so it just ran all night until morning when house keeping came and twisted while pressing the tap down for the water to stop.The owner did say they have just taken over a few days ago and am sure once they have settled in they will put a sign that shows the name of the hotel outside as currently “under new management “ is in big bold words, charter is in tiny almost invisible wording and makes the building very difficult to locate. Outside the reception is written premier inn. The reception is outdated and gives a falls picture of the rooms that are👍
On a positive note
. Parking plenty & free
. 5 minutes drive from the beach
. Breakfast was good and the team worked so hard to try and get all breakfast out at once.
. The beds are so comfortable
. Air conditioning in the room
. Hot shower & tea
