"Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home tucked away in the mountains. We loved the small touches like the s’mores basket, indoor lights and AC on when we walked in, and the comfy bed. However, it would have been great to have lights on the pathway to the front of the home because it was dark when we arrived. "We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. In fact, we wanted to extend our vacation! The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. The host was great at communication and so hospitable. Our dog loved the yard and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub as the sun went down, looking at the gorgeous view!"

"This was a perfect place to getaway for my husband, mutt Rocky and me. Isolated enough so the only sounds we heard were from nature, but an easy trip to pick up any supplies you might need. I loved that the huge deck facing the mountains was deep enough that when there was rain we were able to sit outside without getting wet and enjoy the storm. I also had the lovely experience of hummingbirds visiting me while sitting out on the deck enjoying morning coffee. Read the guest book when you arrive....

"Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed...

"We met up with some old high school friends. We enjoyed hiking by day and reminiscing in the hot tub at night.The pool was a bit too cold still and bugs were bad. Bring bug spray end enjoy the beautiful view."

"Beautiful pet friendly cabin perfectly named as Solitude. I needed a place to get away from the city for a quick weekend getaway with my dog and it was perfect. I enjoyed sitting in the sun in the chairs around the fire pit, the hot tub, and just easing into my day watching the sun come up on the porch. I was extremely happy to find all of the chairs comfortable as I’m short and sometimes that’s an issue but I was able to relax with my pup. Just the short getaway I needed!"
