"Watching the sun rise every morning and hearing the waves crash at night was a gift. Very clean. Staff friendly. Beach access incredible. Many restaurants nearby to walk to. Beds are very firm - a thicker mattress pad would help that. Pillows were not in the best shape. We bought pillows from Walmart. Pool area is lovely but the daily afternoon music from the poolside tiki bar was extremely unenjoyable loud. We still had a nice time all in all. "

"We were in Loris this past weekend for our son’s golf tournament at Diamondback Golf Club. We didn’t want to go to Myrtle Beach and surrounding area to stay overnight since most hotels are 30 min away and they had an early tee time the following day. This hotel is about 10 minutes away from the golf course so we booked it based on a few positive reviews. The room was clean and comfortable. "Last minute booking and usually do not stay at beach inns. Check in was frustrating due to lecture on parking which can be scarce. Noise level Saturday night was excessive and walls must be paper thin. My wife had a couple of things missing and I can't recall when we have had any concerns about items at risk of being taken. The facility is very clean and the location is great."

"On February 20, when I made the reservation, I asked if I could please have a 1st floor room. I never received a response. When I checked in last Thursday, Samuel at the front desk, who was very nice, looked up my reservation and said there was a note to charge me $10 per night. "My room was NOT cleaned like it supposed to be we saw roaches in the kitchen. The shower sound like somebody drilling a hole in the wall. The wire springs were poking through the mattress of my daughter’s bed. And on top of all that the hot water kicked out and we couldn’t shower "

"The property was clean and modern. Room was nicely laid out. Sharp looking bathroom. Staff was overall very helpful. Outlets in the pool room weren't working and they fixed it promptly. Breakfast was okay. Scrambled eggs didn't look good. No glasses for juice. It appeared staff had a hard time keeping up with the deluge of folks ready to eat."

"The beach view was great! We did not go to the outdoor pool. Went to the indoor pool to go in the hot tub. It was too hot. There was not much seating in the indoor area. The pool/hot tub was ok I guess. It’s kind of old and run down. Our room was fine except for the air conditioner leaking on the floor. The kitchen floor was pretty dirty and sandy. There was also very clearly blood on the toilet seat. We had to go to the store and buy wipes to clean it and the kitchen floor. The shower head also...
