"😄spacious room, king bed, quality carpet and good breakfast. 🙁No fire plan, no safe, no room info or QR code-gave up trying to get the TV to work and no one on reception to ask.No housekeeping visit at all was odd? Bathroom needs deep clean of tiles, taps or preferably refurbished as bath chipped and holes in tiles from previous fittings very poorly filled. Paint chips on the furniture. "The room had no wall sockets anywhere near the beds, the only wall sockets were over beside the tv and the kettle both of which you had to unplug to charge phones etc"

However we have stayed in very good 3 star hotels without this and they provide a portable fan. Would stay here again because the pool facility is wonderful. The food was good too. "The staff were very welcoming even when we arrived very late (23:50) somewhat wet and bedraggled after a horrendous drive in the rain up the M6. We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. We would be happy to stay again."

I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice."

"We stayed during the hottest May on record, and the AC system in the rooms was not operational as we were informed by the front desk, that this functionality is only switched on for summer. As the room windows only open a few inches, it made for a hot and uncomfortable few nights stay."

"Viktor was welcoming & so very helpful. The location is walking distance to everything fun, like the World of Glass Museum & the Transportation museum. And not far from lovely strolls along the canal. Stellar place to stay. The room had a microwave, an electric kettle and a clothes stand to hang my clothes. Also one large chest of drawers as well as a small chest of drawers and a lovely mirror. Well recommended!"

"On arriving I was the outside appearance was a bit of a shock and I doubted wether as a single female traveller to stay there was some rooms where the curtains in the windows was torn down , broken chair outside , some of the other guests was outside let's just say was enjoying a few pints etc but I gave it a benefit of the doubt and went and checked in so I could see what the room was like before making a disision wether to not stay. "The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were all fabulous, from check in to restaurant and bar. The lady waiting on breakfast was especially great. The challenges were that the room was rather hot, and given the location on the main road, opening the window meant it was noisy. Noise was the main issue - from doors opening, floors creaking and especially from the person in the next room who had their tv on extremely loud until past 2am. "
