"The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were all fabulous, from check in to restaurant and bar. The lady waiting on breakfast was especially great. The challenges were that the room was rather hot, and given the location on the main road, opening the window meant it was noisy. Noise was the main issue - from doors opening, floors creaking and especially from the person in the next room who had their tv on extremely loud until past 2am. "

"We stayed during the hottest May on record, and the AC system in the rooms was not operational as we were informed by the front desk, that this functionality is only switched on for summer. As the room windows only open a few inches, it made for a hot and uncomfortable few nights stay."

"This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"I had at this modern detached bungalow. The accommodation was clean tidy, and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. There is a lovely village a short walk away, and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. "

We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. "The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Sam, who seemed to be everywhere, and the hotel grounds were picturesque and well kept. The food at the wedding we attended was excellent. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the shower worked well and was a good temperature. Our only slight issue was the shower screen, which was not fully watertight, resulting in water on the floor in the bathroom, which needed hand towels to mop up the excess water, We enjoyed our stay."

I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice."
