"Wonderful home on beautiful grounds. Wonderful cazebo overlooking a creek boardering the rear of the property. Sandra met us shortly after we arrived inviting us in like family with a tour of the house and our room. Breakfast was marvelous with all you could want. "

"We loved our stay at the Mid-Century Retreat! The location was perfect—just minutes from downtown Lexington, yet set on a beautiful property with stunning mountain views. The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Good location near the highway and in a historic district. We were awakened at 5am by the trash dumpster being emptied. So not happy about that."

"Clean, quiet, and convenient. The breakfast, however, left a bit to be desired. The pancake machine had a sign saying it was out of order. The cinnamon rolls the first day were wonderful but were informed the second and third days that “the truck” would not arrive until after we departed. The biscuits were hard as rocks. This needs some attention. Not terrible but lacking the care given to the rest of the property."
