"Stunning. Whether in winter for cozy fires or in summer for the pool and beach, a special place with excellent service. Very dog friendly and we found our classic room spacious and comfortable "
"Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. "

"De kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met ‘Beef Eater’ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren.

"A lovely pub/reataurant with rooms. We stayed in ‘The Apartment’ that sleeps up to six people, with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Four of us stayed comfortably and we will definitely stay here again. We had dinner and breakfast there, the food was lovely, and service second to none. "We were in Room 4 on the top floor which was their largest one and had an ensuite bathroom. It was clean with a comfortable bed. We had a small issue with the shower temperature but after reaching out to the House Manager by text, it was repaired quickly while we were out. The only difficulty was parking (as in most areas of Brighton and Hove) but we were lucky to find a space not too far from the guest house.
