"The house is well represented by the photos in the listing. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was cold, and it was easy to feel right at home. The neighborhood was lovely and felt very safe. We ended up enjoying Mission Beach the most which was a bit far with traffic but going to Tamarack Beach to watch the surfers at sunset was an easy trip. Highly recommend that! This was a great choice for enjoying sunny Southern California in late July."

"A good stay in a good location! Very close to many beaches. The beaches in the area were packed for the entire weekend. Many good local spots to eat and get coffee as well! The bed is pretty much solid as a rock, though, and the walls are very thin. Other than that, everything was great."

"Beautiful place to stay. Everything you need is furnished. We enjoyed the complimentary fresh eggs, honey, kumquats, oranges, lemons and avocados. The Barn Tree House is well stocked with coffee, creamy. Spices, flour, sugar and many more things. John and his daughter ate great hosts . We stayed 2 weeks visiting our children in Oceanside and San Marcos and we plan to stay there in the future. If you are traveling nearby we recommend this beautiful sanctuary.
