"This was a lovely hotel with very nice, attentive and welcoming staff. Excellent location, with very nice amenities. Mineral hot tub, heated pool, and clean and comfortable rooms. Added bonus that they bring you fresh coffee & breakfast breads in the morning. Everyone from the front desk to the grounds keepers were super friendly. Definitely recommend & will return."

"What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....

"We loved this little inn! It’s in a perfect location which makes for an easy walk to all the restaurants on Lincoln. The room we stayed in (St Helena) was the perfect size and had a huge jacuzzi bathtub, which we used one of the nights we stayed. Unfortunately, the bathroom was freezing cold because of the attic door being inside and there is no proper shower in the room so that was one negative.
