"This is a great spot and a well maintained property. The room is very simple and rustic, but entirely functional, very well kept, and cozy. The road to the house is a steep dirt hill that will put some scratches in your car's undercarriage, so get the rental coverage or be prepared. Also, the WIFI is very weak and cell signal only available in a few spots in the room, so don't expect this to be a connected stay. Note to owner: the wifi hot spot you have in place is not very functional."

"This was a joyful holiday stay. The apartment is spacious enough for two. And extremely well equipped. The location was delightful and surrounded by olive trees. The owner made the stay even better by being friendly, but not constantly 'checking on us'. " I have done my research before booking my hotel in florence and nailed it with Calimala Hotel. Excellent hotel, perfect location (really, I came back like 3 times in one afternoon just to charge my phone or use the bathroom, it is that close from all the historical points of the city). My room wasn’t ready yet when I arrived, but it was before check in time. The room was very spacious, great shower, sheets and towels. Very good service before arrival, they made dinner reservations for me. Felt safe the whole time, because there are a lot of people around, its really in the center of the city. Also, the AC works really well, it was one of my worries but it was 36 celsius and the AC was doing the job. Calimala is the perfect choice, hope to come back soon! "
