"Excellent home base for Chemainus and area. The Breakfast was very complete and we enjoyed the large rooms and pool and hot tub. Note for dance teams or similar who might be looking for a hotel in the area, this is a great choice. The double queen rooms are spacious and have 3 large mirrors - 2 full length and an extra wide one with a separate make up mirror in the bathroom. Also a sink area in the main room, so two sinks with a counter in total. All of that makes getting hair and make-up ready...

"Decent hotel near the seaside. The room features some unique wiring and an ultra-loud air conditioner, which couldn’t possibly be left on while in the room. But otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay in Sidney with many encounters with playful seals near the fish market!"

"We loved our short stay at Bayview B&B! Juliette was communicative leading up to check-in, and we really enjoyed visiting with her during breakfast. She is a fantastic cook! Already looking forward to planning a longer stay here."

"Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"My family and I had a good stay. My 5 year old loved the slides and my 2 year old loved the swimming pool area. The continental breakfast was a bonus and had good food selections. Well definitely comeback again."
