Nestled between Marina & SanBuenaventura parks, you'll find yourself steps away from the Pacific Ocean, Seward Village and Ventura Harbor. On premise beach parking, backyard dining area and beach cruiser bikes are available for use.

Such a delight!

Such a great experience! Property was immaculate, and only steps from the beach. My husband and I appreciated the garage stocked with all of the beach essentials. There were beach chairs, an ice chest, sun hats (to name a few)- the property owners thought of everything! We will 100% be back!

Great Location-Just what we needed

My mother and I recently stayed here and loved our stay. We were in town for the Mountains 2 Beach marathon and the location was perfect. We could easily walk to the race expo and the finish line and not have to deal with parking. The included parking at the bungalow was great. The location is walking distance to the beach and restaurants, both of which we took advantage of. We also loved how well stocked the place was. It was perfect for what we needed.

Great spot by the beach!

We stayed as a family of four (kids age 2 and 6). The house was very nice and well equipped. The listing said it slept 4, it worked for us, but we had the kids sleep on the floor in the living room. There is a queen bed and a small (1 small person) daybed/sofa in the living room. The house location was great, we enjoyed walking down the pleasant lane to the beach. And grocery, coffee, restaurants, frozen yogurts all within walking distance. Good location for quick drive to harbor, channel island visitor center, state beach and downtown. We also made day trips to Santa Barbara (botanical gardens) and Ojai. Attentive hosts. Would recommend!

Charming beach cottage

The Mojos' Surf Shack is charmingly decorated and well-equipped cottage steps away from the sand. It's perfect for beach walks and an easy stroll to the local grocery store and neighborhood restaurants. The owners were friendly and responsive. I look forward to staying here again.

Ventura beach stay

The house was really cute and better than the pictures tell! Could not hardly be a better location for Ventura. The area is right on the beach but very close to hop on the freeway and go anywhere or just to take walks along the beach. I surf so C street surf spot is just a 5 min drive. It says it sleeps four but the house is very small and it has one bedroom and pretty small living room so not really sure where 2 more people could actually sleep? !!! It was perfect for a couple though!! We were a little unlucky with the weather but still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Total Adorbs — Fun Area

This bungalow is clean, cute, and cozy, with a mid-century modern surf vibe. The host is accommodating and helpful. There's designated parking next to the bungalow. There are shops near the bungalow — walk to the grocery store, wine shop, coffee shop, a few retail shops, a bar & grill, sushi, etc. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes. San Buenaventura State Beach is a healthy 15-minute walk; there's a pedestrian path to the Ventura Pier and beyond. This bungalow sleeps comfortably for two adults. My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely.

100% perfect

We feel like we truly lucked out finding this little gem. It was 100% clean (and I'm fussy), the kitchen was well stocked so you could actually cook meals, the layout and furnishing were thoughtful, in excellent condition, fit the space perfectly and tasteful! The owner supplied a few sweet treats and enough basic supplies to get us going. The location was perfect. Plenty of restaurants in the area (Sushi House!), a quick and easy walk to the beach for fun and sunset, and easy access to 101. The road is a bit busy during the day, but quiets right down at night. Honestly, we couldn't be happier with the owner and the lodging. Perfect for two!

Great Vibe

This is such a great spot with a great story and a great neighborhood vibe. The beach is just a brief stroll from the front door. You can't help but go on morning walks on the beach with a warm tea, and catch the radiant sun sets in the evenings; no excuses. The main intent of my stay was to break from routine and to blanket myself in creativity... and I got that and more at the Surf Shack.

Great stay

Location Location Location

The Surf Shack is just a short walk to the beach and easy access to everything. Whether it’s hiking in Ojai, a day trip to Santa Barbara or an excursion to the Channel Islands, the Surf Shack is perfectly situated in the heart of it all. Additionally, you will feel at home here. The owners have done a wonderful job decorating and anticipating all of your needs - you won’t want to leave. Check in was seamless, the hosts were responsive to our questions and they had many recommendations for experiencing the local flavor (eating, shopping, happy hour, etc.) I highly recommend this property and I’m already looking for an excuse to go back!

Perfect location, cute, and so tidy!

This place is the epitome of a short term rental- perfectly located, all the amenities are nice (bikes, beach stuff, washer/dryer!, kitchen everything), has easy parking, and comfy bedding. It’s a very short stroll down the lane to the beach. I hope it’s available again the next time we’re in Ventura!

Beach shack a dream!!!

Got to walk to the beach everyday and boogie board. What more could I ask for?! Well I got great comfortable accommodations, cute books to read, and nice cooking and grilling setup. So happy!!

Paradise!!

Beautiful cottage short walk to the beach and restaurants in Pierpont. Cottage is clean, cute, and well appointed. Jen is responsive and managed everything perfectly. We had a lovely visit and will be back. The only possible improvement would be to have some lights outside on the patio. But that really wasn’t a big deal. It was a wonderful getaway.

Amazing!

Jen was an amazing and thoughtful host. The surf shack is equipped with everything you need. Her thoughtfulness is seen throughout with all of the small touches in the surf shack. The location is perfect to walk to the beach or walk to Seaward Avenue to grab a bite. We loved riding the bikes provided to the pier. This place is a must if you are coming to Ventura. We will definitely come back.

Surf Shack

It was the cutest little place to stay. Very comfortable, with easy access to the beach. The house offers lots of extra perks that make your stay fun & memorable. Sure would stay again when visiting Ventura.

Relaxing place.

A cute little Shack close to beach for a sunset walk. Convenient places to eat close by. Easy freeway access. Not far from the Ventura Marina many which have shops and things to do there. I would stay at this VRBO again.
