"Check in was incredibly simple, thank you! The house is impeccable, completely exceeded my expectations! Nothing required as of yet but willyou if anything is needed 😄"

"Our host Sally was the best! "

"Cliffhanger is a stunning period home in a fabulous location in Cowes. Easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Cowes. Parking is restricted but at the time of year we visited (Sept) we had no issues. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable and the roof terrace has fabulous views. The kitchen is well equipped and there is no shortage of games etc in the lounge area if the weather closes in. Our host was charming and very helpful, going the extra mile for us when we had some last...

"High quality property. Everything is spotless and to a high standard. Amazing bed sheets and bed. Some great toys for the kids. Highly recommended (and I NEVER leave reviews) "

"the size of the house was perfect, loads of hot water, linen was good, our family had a lovely weekend! PS needs a bit of TLC "

"Lovely spacious well equipped house"

"House is lovely and was very clean and welcoming. There were issues with a rusty barbecue and a faulty freezer but I'm sure those matters will be resolved for future guests. I was offered recompense for wasted food if appropriate (not necessary).Happy to recommend."

"The house is very spacious, just as described, and matches the pictures. The location is excellent, and the neighborhood is well-maintained. We felt very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, and even a mid-stay cleaning was offered."

Communication with the maintenance guy was ok however he asked me to send emails to the ‘office’ about the internet issue but I had no response from the ‘office’. My bedding had spots of blood on it. All in all…it was not a great experience. Maintenance guy was very apologetic."

Upon arrival, no staff were present and the room was already occupied by two other guests due to a double-booking. The property was in a severe state of disrepair: the door was detached from its hinges, the walls were unwashed, and the bedding had significant biological stains and unwashed pillowcases. Furthermore, there was a heavy, pervasive odor of tobacco smoke. As a diagnosed COPD patient, this...

"Jay was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a little issue that he immediately resolved"

"Clean, modern and comfortable. Great location for a stay in Portsmouth/Gosport, especially if using public transport."
