    Lovingly restored between 2023–2026, this exceptional farmhouse was originally built around 1812 — blends original character features with sophisticated modern living. Inside, guests will discover flagstone floors, exposed wooden beams, limestone walls, bespoke handcrafted interiors, and elegant entertaining spaces designed for memorable gatherings with family and friends.

    The Farmhouse has been carefully designed to celebrate its heritage, with exposed beams, textured limestone walls, and traditional flagstone flooring sitting alongside bespoke craftsmanship and elegant modern comforts.



    At the heart of the home lies a stunning handmade kitchen and open-plan dining space, designed for sociable entertaining and long relaxed meals together. The large dining table comfortably seats 10 guests, making the property ideal for multi-generational family holidays, group stays, and special occasions.



    Two separate living rooms divided by a striking central fireplace provide flexible spaces for relaxing, reading, or gathering together, whilst a separate snug with writing desk offers a peaceful workspace for remote working or quiet moments away from the group.

    Guest Essentials & Important Information



    Guests can choose to pay a non-refundable damage waiver (£100)provide a pre-authorised security deposit (£500) before check-in. (The deposit is only charged if damage is reported within 7 days after departure.)



    Pets: Up to 1 well-behaved dogs are welcome (£35 per pet, per week). Please bring your own pet bedding and add pets at booking so the fee is included. If undeclared pets are discovered, the fee will be requested separately. - PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ENCLOSED AREA BUT GARDENS AND OPEN MEADOWLAND. THERE ARE LOVELY WALKS AROUND THE GROUNDS ACCESSIBLE VIA FOOTPATH TO EXPLORE THE ANCIENT PARKLAND.



    Please note that The Farmhouse at Nunwell has recently undergone an extensive restoration and renovation programme. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the property is presented to a high standard, some minor dust from the traditional lime plaster walls may occasionally be present as the building continues to naturally settle and breathe.



    This is a normal characteristic of historic properties renovated using traditional materials and should not affect your stay. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to preserve and enhance this unique heritage farmhouse.



    Electric Vehicles: No on-site charger use of mains electric for car charging is prohibited. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged, additional costs may apply.
