"I stayed at Nakanku Lodge from mid January to mid February 2024 accompanied by my little Maltese dog, Lulu. Everything was wonderful! The tropical garden setting was beautiful. I loved the pool and easy proximity to beaches. The outdoor kitchen was so fun as it generated opportunities for community and conversations with other guests. Gary was a super host! Hope to return next winter! Pura vida!"

"Small, cozy, friendly, quiet....we stayed for a month in the jungle of Guanacaste with Gary and his dog, Wally! The pool is wonderfully shady in the afternoons, Gary is a warm and friendly host, helpful and kind. We were looking for someplace near to beaches, great sunsets, and no crowds....meeting the locals, shopping the local markets, etc. This is the perfect spot to just sit back and relax."

"Hosts were great communicators and provided a healthy delicious breakfast. The gardens host a plethora of different plants and one can see a variety of different exotic birds. The room is cozy and well equipped, and the infinity pool overlooking the jungle is amazing"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Finca Lucky Treehouse. It was a unique experience along with comfort. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed to make some of our meals. The well maintained pool was refreshing in the warm afternoon. Maria responded quickly to our questions and needs. I highly recommend this charming house. "

"Beautiful area, good kitchen. You do need 4x4 to get up to it. Wi-Fi was our biggest issue. The slow connection made it hard to work. "
