"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. "This place is even more beautiful than I thought it would be! It was perfect for us, who are avid campers and love living outdoors. The cabin is located on the top of a hill (about 30 steps down to the beach). There are 2 other cabins at the top of the hill. One is directly beside this cabin, which hinders the privacy. "It is true this is off the beaten track and very quiet except the dogs barking at 3am. Unfortunately when we arrived the bed was crawling with ants. there were 2 holes in the wall that the ants were crawling out of. The property manager's solution was to use a can of raid and duck tape the holes. We had booked for 5 nights but left after 1 night. We found much more comfortable accommodations in Tamarindo.
