"Nice budget friendly part of the world in South part of the big Island. Very neat and tidy accommodation. Good bed. Quiet place. Access to punaluhulu black sand beach for an easy walk to see the turtles. Staff friendly. It is dated but def neat and tidy and we could have stayed an extra couple of nights. Worth the stop. "

"This place is huge! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and not get in each other's way. The pantry was also well stocked with things you might have forgotten to bring, which was a plus. The area is in a quiet neighborhood except, of source, for the coqui frogs that plague Hawaii. Even those can be charming with the right mood. "This spot was awesome! The neighborhood didn’t have a great reputation with the locals but we honestly had no problems at all staying on this part of the island. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered lots of really great recommendations for things to do while we were there. "Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. "This property is beautifully maintained inside and out. Every amenity that you can think of is available. It is obvious they put a lot of thought and attention to the comfort of guests. The kitchen is perfect, well organized, with everything one needs to cook any meal. The lanai furniture is comfortable, a lovely space for watching birds, relaxing, outdoor dining. "This was our first time at this property after having stayed at another house in the area for our last 5-6 trips. Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. "We had the best time at this little hideaway! It was perfect for the 2 of us and David and Wendy are wonderful. We didn't take advantage of the on site laundry, but it was so nice to have it available if needed.Property was as described if not better. Everything we needed.
