"To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. "

"Room was basic but clean. Staff helpful. Decent breakfast. Pool quite small and limited poolside chairs. Sauna room small. Jacuzzi was big and good pressure. Lakes restsurant had limited choice for vegetarian and no chicken or lamb dishes. Nothing nearby and the closest place to dine is Faversham. "

"Lovely, spacious double room with good amenities. Location was amazing so close to beach. Friendly and helpful staff. The food from the restaurant was superb. We had breakfast included in price and bought main meals and were impressed with both."

"Great stay at the Yarrow. The reception staff were fabulous. The spa was a lovely relaxing treat after a long walk. Shame the steam room was out of order and we weren’t told. Breakfast also really good and we weren’t hurried out when it finished. Would thoroughly recommend."

The pool was a bonus - one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel, it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good - choice of continental and cooked with wide choice, kept topped up."

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"
