"The owner is always accommodating and hospitable. Value for the money is 5 stars. A very clean and modern space that’s well maintained. I don’t do many reviews since I travel for a living but feel moved to share my experience. It’s the only place I stay when working in Pembroke/Petawawa area."

"I’m not a big fan of roadside motels because they’re usually pretty scuzzy. However, the Deep River Motel has been perfectly upgraded to modern standards. It’s clean, well maintained, and has all the mod cons. The bathroom as all new and clean as whistle. There’s a microwave, good sized fridge, really good A/C and a flat panel tv with lots to watch. The staff are super helpful. I’ve seen people complain about the highway noise but, frankly, we had no problem with that. It’s a roadside motel so...

"Calabogie peaks resort was 5 minutes down the road. Stores, food places and trails close proximity. My dad and I were in Calabogie for the annual snowmobile races and got lucky with the last room available. Spacious, cute environment, clean, and the man running the place and front desk was so kind. Definitely will be our spot to stay every year moving forward, can’t beat the price. "

"I stay at the Nipissing Inn anytime I have to stay overnight. I can trust that the room and the bed are immaculately clean, which means peace of mind for me. In addition, I like the location - it's on the outskirts of town, it's quiet and safe there."
