"We feel really lucky to have found this location in Upcountry Kula. The lanais provided excellent viewing of both Haleakala and the West Maui mountains. Cool nights and ease of access to all of the surrounding towns and sightseeing opportunities made this a most enjoyable visit for us. To top it off, Steve and Diane were the most wonderful hosts as well as a wealth of information for all things Maui. We would absolutely stay with them again given the opportunity."

It's upcountry, which means it's a 20-30 minute drive at least to most attractions, but the tradeoff is a beautiful view and a quiet space to come home to. (You're also much closer to Haleakala than staying in the more populated areas.) "The neighborhood is a nice quiet area, with shops & places to eat within a minute walk. The driveway is a bit tricky, but opens up to a beautiful property with plenty of outdoor space. The house itself was very clean & neat, and the rooms all fit our needs. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed a week! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay off the beaten path but still be able to see everything you want!"
