"Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! "This is a beautiful luxury resort with all the amenities and it has a super friendly atmosphere. The spa experience is top notch and the therapists are excellent. There were some areas that were not open and under renovation during our stay. There were also a few restaurants that were closed which made the selection limited. Still, the accommodations are beautiful and the 2200 acres spectacular. A lot to see and do so if you are alone or traveling with kids there are plenty of activities."

"The Lodge was very rustic in decor but modern with the amenities that help make a stay away from home comfortable. The room, including the bathroom, was clean, the beds were comfortable, the linens provided were sufficient. The coffee maker was a bit lacking since it leaked all over the table. But we were most appreciative of the complimentary bottles of water provided. "Very clean, updated room. The staff was great. Would definitely recommend, especially to health conscious people, as the rooms are set up with exercise equipment as well as a gym. "
